ObjectiveTo Discuss the effect of hypernatremia in DCD(Donation after Cardiac Death)donors on the recovery of liver function in early period of postoperation of recipients,in order to provide reference to the donor maintance and other clinical work.MethodsSamples analyzed are some of recipients undergoing liver transplantation in affiliated hospital of Qingdao University. To retrospective analyze the clinical data of these recipients, which was to be divided into hypernatremia group(serum?150mmol/L,n=18)and non-hypernatremia group(serum<150mmol/L,n=76).Collecting and analyzing serum levels of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate amino transferase(AST),total bilirubin(Tbil),alkaline phosphatase(ALP),prothrombin time(PT),serum creatinine(Cr)at 1st,3rd,7th,10 th and 14 th days after liver transplantation of recipients in two groups.Postoperative intensive care unit(ICU)time, mortality of perioperative period, incidence rate of the initial poor graft function(IPF)and the surgical complication were analyzed. The measurement data of normal distribution were analyzed using mixed linear model, and other count data were analyzed using rank sum test between two groups. The count data were analyzed using chi-square test.ResultsThe mean serum levels of ALT and AST in hypernatremia group at postoperative 1st were(564.61±307.02)U/L and(770.01±432.20)U/L,higher than(374.99±204.52)U/L and(480.77±267.75)U/L in non-hypernatremia group,p value were 0.02 and 0.01.The mean serum levels of ALT and AST in hypernatremia group at postoperative 3rd days were(446.44±387.69)U/L and(329.06±335.49)U/L,which were significantly higher than(210.70±143.51)U/L and(114.92±120.12)U/L in the non-hypernatremia group.P value were 0.02 and 0.04.The mean prothrombin time in the hypernatremia group,(16.9±3.33)s,was significantly longer than that,(14.97±2.14)s,in the non-hypernatremia group at postoperative 1st day.P value was 0.03.There were no statistical difference in the mean serum levels of TBil,ALP and Cr between the two groups(all P>0.05).The incidence rate of IPF in the hypernatremia group was 16.67%,which was significantly higher than 1.32% in non-hypernatremia group. The postoperative ICU stay, mortality of perioperative period and incidence rate of surgical complication showed no significant difference between two groups(all P>0.05).ConclusionsThe hypernatremia in donors had no significant effect on early stage of recipients recovery of liver function after liver transplantation, but it can prolong the recipients recovery time of liver function after liver transplantation.
