Objective: This study aims to detect the expression of decorin in breast cancer tissues and corresponding adjacent tissues, and analyze the correlation between the expression of decorin and the clinical pathological characteristics. To clarify the relationship between decorin and the occurrence and development of breast cancer. It provides new possibilities for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. Methods: 1.50 cases of breast cancer tissues and corresponding adjacent tissues which were confirmed by definite pathological diagnosis were collected,The expression of decorin in 100 specimens was detected by immunohistochemical staining.2.The clinical and pathological data of 50 cases were collected, including age, maximum tumor diameter, lymph node metastasis, and clinical TNM staging.Detect the expression of decorin in breast cancer tissues and corresponding adjacent tissues.3.SPSS statistical analysis software was used to analyze the correlation between the expression of decorin and clinical and pathological data.Result: The immunohistochemical staining showed that the positive expression rate of decorin in breast cancer tissue was 44%(22/50),and the positive expression rate of decorin in adjacent tissues was 72%(36/50).The positive expression rate of decorin in cancer tissue was significantly lower than that in adjacent tissues.(P<0.05).Statistical analysis indicated that the expression of decorin is correlative with maximum tumor diameter(P=0.030),lymph node metastasis(P=0.025),and clinical TNM staging(P=0.041).However,there was no significant correlation between the express of decorin with age(P=0.665)and Molecular typing of breast cancer(P=0.464).Conclusion: 1.The positive expression rate of decorin in cancer tissue was significantly lower than that in adjacent tissues. The expression of decorin may be involved in the occurrence and development of breast cancer.2.The expression of decorin is correlative with maximum tumor diameter, lymph node metastasis, tumor histological grade, and clinical TNM staging. The expression of decorin in breast cancer may be a marker for predicting the prognosis of breast cancer patients, and may become a new target for tumor therapy. |
