| Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of Laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC)in gallstone patients with cirrhosis. Methods: The clinical data of 70 gallstone patients with cirrhosis and 200 gallstone patients without cirrhosis from Fourth Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University and Shengjing Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University, undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy during October 2011 to October 2019,were retrospectively analyzed. The two groups were compared the surgical time, intraoperative blood loss, conversion, hospitalization expenses, postoperative hospital stay, and the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups. Results: Comparing with gallstone patients without cirrhosis who undergo LC,gallstone patients with cirrhosis who undergo LC had a longer surgical time[(82.1±42.2)min vs(64.7±20.6)min],more intraoperative blood loss [(55.4±103.8)ml vs(16.7±9.8)ml],more hospitalization expenses [(27203.8±16226.2)RMB vs(19778.6±3447.9)RMB],higher drainage rate(84.3% vs 49.5%),and the differences were statistically significant. But the differences in postoperative hospital stay [(5.8±3.7)d vs(4.9±1.7)d](P=0.052)and postoperative complications(5.7% vs1.5%)(P=0.141)between the two groups of patients were no significant. Conclusion: Although LC for gallstone patients with cirrhosis is more difficult, the postoperative recovery and complications in gallstone patients with cirrhosis are not different from those in gallstone patients without cirrhosis. Therefore,LC is safe and feasible for gallstone patients with cirrhosis when conditions permit. |
