Clinical Comparative Study Of Two Portals To Treat Popliteal Cyst With Arthroscopy

Objective: To compare the difference in clinical efficacy of treating popliteal cyst using double posteromedial portal and posterior direct portal with arthroscopy.Methods: Selected from June 2016 to December 2018 36 patients with popliteal cyst in our hospital,divided them into two groups,double posteromedial portal group(group A)with 17 cases,all of them are posteromedial cyst,posterior direct portal group(group B)with 19 cases,posteromedial cyst 17 cases,posterolateral cyst 2 cases.Evaluation criterion: operation time,Rauschning-Lindgrenel system evaluation,postoperative recovery rate and postoperative recurrence rate.Results: The time of operation :The group A can directly treat the lesion of articular cavity,the average operation time is(40.04±1.47)min;The group B need change the position,the average operation time is(53.33±1.41)min,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The postoperative Rauschning-Lindgrenel system evaluation:Group A,0 level in 15 cases,1 level in 2 cases;Group B,0 level in 17 cases,1 level in 2 cases,there were no statistically significant differences.The postoperative recovery rate:Group A(88.2%)and group B(89.5%),there were no statistically significant differences(P>0.05).The two groups both didn't have the recovery.Conclusion: The double posteromedial portal can only treat the cyst connected with the articular cavity between the medial head of the gastrocnemius muscle and semimembranosus,but it can treat the lesion of the articular cavity with the same time of cutting out the cyst,shortens the operation time,can be the preferred treatment method of the cyst connected with the articular cavity;The posterior direct portal can treat all position of the cyst,but because of the position restrictions,it can't deal the lesion in the articular cavity with the same time,so it can be the preferred treatment method of the cyst except connected with the articular cavity.
