Background and objective:According to the literature review, there are abundant studies on the bonding technology and surface treatment of all-ceramic restorations and the influence of bonding, agents on the bonding strength of all-ceramic restorations in China, which can improve the treatment level of dental ceramic restoration to a certain extent,However, the research on the application of bonding agents in this field still needs to be expanded. In particular, there is less research on the bonding effect between different types of bonding agents and different types of ceramic restoration after adhesion. If the bonding agents are not selected properly, cracks will still occur. And the healing effect is not good,so we need to further summarize the clinical experience and theoretical analysis,so that the bonding agent can be better used in all-ceramic restoration. The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of different resin cements on bonding Properties of lithium disilicate glass ceramic and zirconia ceramic restorations, mainly includes two aspects:shear strength bond and tensile strength bond. Thus to provide evidence for clinical adhesive selection.Materials and methods:60 dentin bonding surfaces were prepared.2 types of ceramic system(IPS e.max CAD glass ceramic and cercon zirconia ceramic)were matched with 3 different adhesives(U200,clearfil SA Luting,Maxcem EliteTM Chroma)respectively. The prepared specimens were randomly assigned to 6 groups(n=10)according to the matching groups:group SERU(e.max and U200),group SECS(e.max and clearfil SA Luting),group SEME(e.max and Maxcem EliteTM Chroma),group SZRU(cercon zirconia and U200),group SZCS(cercon zirconia and clearfil SA Luting),group SZME(cercon zirconia and Maxcem EliteTM Chroma).Another 60 dentin bonding surfaces were prepared into different sizes, assigned to 6 groups(n=10)according to the above matching scheme for the tensile strength test:group TERU(e.max and U200),group TECS(e.max and clearfil SA Luting),group TEME(e.max and Maxcem EliteTM Chroma),group TZRU(cercon zirconia and U200),group TZCS(cercon zirconia and clearfil SA Luting),group TZME(cercon zirconia and Maxcem EliteTM Chroma). All the bonded assemblies were immersed in water at 37?for 24 h,and then used for the shear bond strength test(SBS)and tensile bond strength test(TBS)in a universal testing machine. Results:The shear bond strength(SBS)of each group of e.max were(SERU:13.28±0.37Mpa,SECS:15.20±0.48MPa,SRME:6.79±0.65MPa),the SBS of group CS is the highest and group ME is the lowest;while ill zirconia ceramic the SBS of each group were(SZRU:10.82±0.95Mpa,SZCS:17.97±0.47MPa,SZME:4.50±0.58MPa separately),the SBS of group CS is the highest and group ME is the lowest. The tensile bond strength(TBS)of each group of e.max were(TERU:23.84±0.68Mpa,TECS:22.50±0.83MPa,TEME:18.74±1.00MPa),the TBS of group RU is the highest and group ME is the lowest;while in zirconia ceramic the TBS of each group were(TZRU:21.51±1.06Mpa,TZCS:32.67±1.79MPa,TZME:19.81±0.47MPa separately),the SBS of group CS is the highest and group ME is the lowest(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.In both SBS test and TBS test MDP-containing SARCs(self-adhesive resin cements)CS cement showed the best bonding strength to zirconia ceramics.Among Non-MDP-containing SARCs,the RU cement which have Phosphate monomer can form chemical bonding with zirconia and the resin matrix showed better bonding strength than ME cement, which have the lower PH and the higher hydrophilicity.2.While for lithium disilicate ceramics, the bonding strength is significantly increased with the silanes-containing SARCs(RU and CS)compared to the Non-silane containing SARCs(ME).3.For zirconia ceramics the MDP-containing SARCs is recommended, and for lithium disilicate ceramics the silanes-containing SARCs is recommended if using SARC s for adhesive.
