Objective To investigate the correlation between metabolic parameters of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose(FDG)Positron emission tomography/Computed tomography(PET/CT)and colorectal cancer(CRC)patients' gender,age,lesion length along the intestine,degree of differentiation,Kras gene mutation,TNM staging,serum tumor marker CEA,CA199 and VEGF.Methods The clinical data and preoperative PET/CT data of 76 patients with CRC were retrospectively analyzed.Maximum standardized uptake value(SUVmax),mean standardized uptake value(SUVmean)and metabolic tumor value(MTV)of primary lesion were measured,and total lesion glycolysis(TLG)was calculated.Relationship between metabolic parameters and clinicopathological features and tumor markers was analyzed.Results 1.SUVmax,SUVmean,MTV and TLG of 76 primary lesions were 13.15(9.10,16.40),7.50(5.20,9.70),16.30(9.32,24.10)cm3 and 114.75(61.45,201.12)g.2.There were statistically significant differences in the SUVmax,SUVmean,MTV and TLG of CRC primary lesions with different T stages and histological differentiation(P <0.05).CRC primary lesions of different genders,ages,M stages,serum CEA,and serum CA199 Metabolic parameters SUVmax,SUVmean,MTV,and TLG were not statistically significant(P> 0.05).There was a statistically significant difference in primary tumor MCT and TLG of different lesions along the intestinal length CRC(P <0.05),and different lesions along the intestinal length CRC The SUVmax and SUVmean differences of primary tumors were not statistically significant(P> 0.05).The differences of SUVmax and SUVmean of primary tumors with different Kras gene mutations were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in TLG(P> 0.05),and there was a statistically significant difference in MTV between primary CRCs with different N stages(P<0.05),while there was no statistically significant difference in SUVmax,SUVmean,and TLG in primary CRC with different N stages(P> 0.05),the MTV and TLG of different VEGF CRC primary tumors were statistically significant(P<0.05),while the SUVmax and SUVmean of different VEGF CRC primary tumors were not statistically significant(P> 0.05).3.respectively.MTV and TLG of primary lesion were positively associated with the length of lesion along the intestine(?=0.773,0,704,P<0.05),while SUVmax and SUVmean were not significantly associated with l length of lesion along the intestine(P >0.05);SUVmax,SUVmean,MTV and TLG were all positively associated with the degree of differentiation(?=0.258,0.235,0.238,0.295,P<0.05);SUVmax and SUVmean were positively associated with Kras gene mutation(?=0.321,0.317,P<0.05),but MTV and TLG were not significantly associated with Kras gene mutations(P>0.05);SUVmax,SUVmean,MTV and TLG were all positively associated with T stage(?=0.274,0.256,0.444,0.541,P<0.05);Only MTV was positively correlated with N stage(?=0.290,P<0.05),SUVmax,SUVmean and TLG had no significant correlation with N stage(P>0.05);MTV and TLG were positively associated with VEGF(?=0.250,0.288,P<0.05),SUVmax and SUVmean were not significantly associated with VEGF(P>0.05);None of the parameters had correlation with gender,age,M stage,CEA and CA199(P>0.05).Conclusion Metabolic parameters of CRC primary lesion have certain correlation with some clinical features and serum tumor markers,Among them,MTV and TLG of CRC primary lesions are related to the length of the intestine along the length of the lesion,which helps The measurement,in turn,helps to formulate the scope of CRC surgical resection.SUVmax and SUVmean are related to the Kras gene mutation in the CRC primary lesion,which is helpful to the formulation of CRC targeted drug treatment programs.SUVmax,SUVmean,MTV,and TLG are all related to CRC.The degree of histological differentiation of primary tumors and T stage are related,MTV is related to N stage of patients,and MTV and TLG have certain correlation with serum VEGF,which is helpful for judging the prognosis of patients.
