Objectives:Wechsler Intelligence Scale For Adult-Chinese Revised(WAIS-RC),Clinical Memory Scale(CMS),and Event Correlation Potential P300 were used for adult temporal lobe epilepsy Temporal lobe epilepsy(TLE)patients were treated with Oxcarbazepine(OXC),Levetiracetam(LEV),and Oxcarbazepine combined with Levetiracetam(OXC+LEV)before and after 3 months of medication.Cognitive function(CF)assessment.At the same time,based on the assessment of cognitive function in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy,the effects of OXC,LEV and OXC+LEV on the cognitive function and quality of life of patients with temporal lobe epilepsy were analyzed.There is a deeper understanding of the quality of life and the rational use of medicine..Methods:This study collected adult patients diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy for the time from January 2018 to January 2020 in the inpatient and outpatient department of the Department of Neurology,the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University.Ninety-one patients,collected basic information and clinical history of patients in detail and perfected Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI),long-range video or Electroencephal-ogram,and then randomly divided patients into OXC group of 30 patients,31 patients in the LEV group and 30 in the OXC+LEV group.All patients were tested for event-related potential P300,WAIS-RC,and CMS before medication,and P300,WAIS-RC and CMS were tested again after 3 months of regular medication.Scale assessment.Select the appropriate statistical method to organize and analyze the data,analyze the OXC.group,the LEV group and the OXC+LEV group.All patients' changes in their own cognitive function before and after taking the medication are compared,and then the cognitive function changes after the three groups of medication The results were analyzed statistically and compared with data to explore the effects of OXC,LEV and OXC+LEV on cognitive function in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy.Results:1.Patients in OXC group,LEV group and OXC+ LEV group have improved P300 latency and amplitude after treatment(P<0.05).OXC,LEV and OXC+LEV can improve cognitive dysfunction in adults with temporal lobe epilepsy.2.The WAIS-RC and CMS scale scores of patients in the OXC group,LEV group and OXC+LEV group after treatment were greater than those before treatment(P<0.05).Have a positive effect.3.There is no obvious advantage in choosing OXC or single drug over LEV single drug in the treatment of cognitive dysfunction in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy.4.The treatment effect of OXC+LEV on cognitive impairment is significantly better than that of OXC and LEV monotherapy.The differences in the changes of P300,WAIS-RC and CMS scale before and after treatment in the three groups were compared.Verbal Intelligence Quotient(VIQ),Full Intelligence Quotient(FIQ),pointing memory,portrait feature recall,and Memory Quotient(MQ)scores of post-patients improved more than OXC and LEV groups,P300 P2 The shortening of the incubation period of the wave and P3 wave is greater than that of the OXC group and the LEV group,and the increase of the amplitude of the P3 wave is greater than that of the OXC group and the LEV group.(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Choose to use OXC,LEV or OXC+LEV to treat patients with temporal lobe epilepsy,all of which can improve cognitive dysfunction in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy.2.Choose OXC or LEV monotherapy to treat cognitive dysfunction in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy.3.OXC+LEV treatment of patients with temporal lobe epilepsy has improved cognitive function and processing ability,speech comprehension ability,mental activity reaction ability,memory of recall and recognition and alert attention,etc.The improvement of cognitive function is more obvious,and the treatment effect on cognitive impairment Significantly superior to OXC and LEV monotherapy.4.P300,WAIS-RC and CMS can be used as an objective,practical and simple tool for evaluating cognitive function in adult patients with temporal lobe epilepsy.They can detect or evaluate the influence of drugs on the cognitive function of patients during the treatment of temporal lobe epilepsy.,To provide clinicians with objective guidance on medication selection.
