Efficacy Analysis Of One-stop Hybrid Operation On Iliac Vein Compression Syndrome Combined With Lower Extremity Varicose Veins

ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of one-stop hybrid operation on iliac vein compression syndrome(IVCS)combined with lower extremity varicose vein.MethodsThe clinical data of 91 patients diagnosed with IVCS combined with lower extremity varicose veins from Augest 2013 to July 2017 were analyzed.All the cases were divided into two groups according to different treatments,49 of who treat IVCS and lower extremity varicose vein in simultaneous operation(One-stop hybrid operation group,Group A),and 42 firstly treat IVCS,then lower extremity varicose vein during a hospital stay(State operation group,Group B).The clinical efficacy including primary iliac vein patency rate,ulcer healing rate and swelling relief rate,economic burden including hospitalization days and expenses,and safety in incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.ResultsThere was no significant difference in primary iliac vein patency rate,ulcer healing rate and swelling relief rate at 12 months in the two groups[(100%vs.100%),(100%vs.100%),(87.50%vs.88.89%),P>0.05].The difference in hospitalization days and expenses[(13.50±2.30)vs.(16.61±3.28)d,(37.7±3.2)vs.(43.7±2.0)thousand Yuan,P<0.05]was statistically significant.Complications were mainly inguinal bleeding and hypodermic blood stasis ang gave corresponding improvement after symptomatic treatment,so these were no statistically significant difference[6.12%(3/49)vs.4.76%(2/42),P>0.05].There were no deep venous thrombosis,pulmonary embolism,stent thrombosis and etc occurred in the two groups.ConclusionsOne-stop hybrid operation for IVCS combined with lower extremity varicose veins has good short-term efficacy,less invasive,short hospital stay and low cost,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
