ObjectiveTo study the drug resistant situation of Salmonella from animal sources and patients sources from 2015 to 2016 of Hubei province.Comparing the differences between these two sources and preliminary discussion on the reasons for the differences.MethodsReferring to the national food safety standards of GB 4789.4-2010 "food microbiology test","clinical microbiological examination standardized operation(Third Edition ISO 15189),67 strains of Salmonella were isolated in 300 of animal derived food samples collected from the cities of Hubei province and 99 isolated Salmonella strains from some hospitals.API20 E biochemical reagent was used to identify Salmonella and serological agglutination test was used to detect Salmonella serotype.The minimal inhibitory concentrations of antibiotics were determined by the broth microdilution method recommended by CLSI(the American Institute for clinical laboratory standardization)and the resistance phenotype was determined according to the standard interpretation results.SPSS 17 statistical software was used for statistical analysis.X2 test was performed to detect the drug resistance rate of Salmonella from different sources,and the difference was statistically significant between the two groups of P<0.05.Results67 strains of Salmonella were isolated from animal sources food samples,the isolation rate was 22.33%.These 67 strains of animal origin Salmonella were sensitive to IMI,to the other 13 kinds of antibiotics had a certain degree of resistance and to TET resistance rate was the highest(61.19%).99 strains of patient origin Salmonella from had a certain degree of resistance to 14 kinds of antibiotic and to FAZ resistant rate was the highest(79.80%).The statistical analysis showed the resistant rates to CIP,NAL,GEN,the animal origin Salmonella was higher than thepatient origin Salmonella(P<0.05)and the resistant rates to AMP,A/2S,FAZ the the animal origin Salmonella was lower than the patient origin Salmonella(P <0.05).There were significant differences in the distribution of dominant drug resistance among Salmonella isolates from different sources.ConclusionsThe animal source food Salmonella contamination is serious in Hubei province,animal and patient sources of antibiotic resistance of Salmonella are very serious.The differences in a few kinds of antibiotic resistance rate and multi drug resistance suggesting that may be affected by antibiotic selective pressure in different environment and resistant gene dissemination mechanism.
