Objective:Retrospective analysis of clinical data of patients with infectious mononucleosis admitted to our hospital in the past seven years to summarize the epidemiological characteristics and clinical features of the disease, thus providing the basis for clinical prevention and treatment of infectious mononucleosis.Methods:73 patients with infectious mononucleosis hospitalized in our hospital from January 2013 to December 2019 were selected as the study objects, who were divided into two groups:children and adults, the three-dimensional and clinical characteristics of these patients were analyzed retrospectively.Results:1.Epidemiological characteristics:Time distribution:2013?2019 the number of cases were sent:2 cases,16 cases,16 cases,8 cases,5 cases,10 cases,16 cases; The incidence rate of followed by spring, summer, autumn, and winter were 24.7%,26%,26%and 24.7%.Triple distribution:Among 73 patients,39 males and 34 females, the ratio of male to female was about 1.15:1;the average age of 73 patients was(13.9±9.1)years old,the youngest age was 1 and the eldest age was 45;the age of onset was mainly 6?14 years old in children group, with 19 cases;the peak age of adults was 18?30 years old, with 18 cases;nation:the Han nationality 62 cases, minority nationality 11 cases.Spatial distribution:Among 73 patients,38 cases of Kunming City,31 cases of other prefectures and cities of Yunnan Province,4 cases of other provinces.2.Clinical manifestations:The main manifestations of IM were fever(71 cases),lymphadenopathy(66 cases),and angina(56 cases),the average fever period was 9.69 ± 5.76 days, and there was significant difference in average fever period between the two groups(P<0.05).Children showed angina, hepatomegaly, eyelid edema is more common than adults(P<0.05),but there were no significant difference about incidence of fever, lymphadenopathy, splenomegaly and rash between the two groups(P>0.05).3.Laboratory examination:blood routine:WBC higher than 10×109/L in 51 cases,LYM higher than 50%in 63 cases,ALY higher than 10%in 59 cases;serum biochemical examinatio:ALT increased in 53 cases,AST increased in 55 cases;the difference in the elevation of WBC between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in the elevation of LYM,ALY,ALT,AST between the two groups(P>0.05)4.Complications:Among 73 patients, there are 33 cases with liver injury,5 cases with habronchopneumonia,2 cases with myocarditis,4 cases with thrombocytopenia,2 cases with Haemophilus syndrome,1 case with granulocytopenia;children group:1 case with Haemophilus syndrome, adults group:1 case with Haemophilus syndrome.5.Treatment:All patients were cured after antiviral and symptomatic treatment and discharged from the hospitalConclusion(s):1.Four seasons may be the pathogenesis of IM in this area, males are more than females, the peak age of children is 6?14 years old,the peak age of adults onset is 18-30 years old,Han nationality has the largest number of patients, and Kumming has the largest number of patients.2.The main clinical manifestations of IM patients are fever, angina and lymphadenopathy;the average fever period of adults is longer than that of children;children showed angina, hepatomegaly and eyelid edema is more common than adults.3.The proportion of leukocyte increase in children was higher than that in adults.;the detection of EBV specific antibody and the proportion of heteromorphic lymphocytes can help the diagnosis of IM.4.The most common complication of IM patients is liver injury;most of the complications of IM are mild and severe IM is rare;haemophilus syndrome can occur in both adults and children, but it is rare.5.At present, treatment strategies of IM are mainly antiviral and symptomatic therapy,in general, prognosis of IM is good.
