Bushen Jianpi Shugan Combined With Catgut Embedding For Obese Women With Pcos:A Clinical Study

Objectives: To observe the clinical effect of Bushen Jianpi Shugan combined with catgut embedding for obese women with PCOS,and preliminary discuss the mechanism of chinese medicine combined with embedding for PCOS women with obese treatment.Methods: Forty obese women with PCOS join this study,and to two groups randomly,the control group which had 20 patients,with Bushen Jianpi Shugan decoction,and the treatment group also had 20 patients,with catgut embedding and Bushen Jianpi Shugan decoction.The treatment for 3 menstrual cycles,and after the treatment,in the third month should be investigated.By observing the BMI,waist circumference,FIns,FPG,HDL,LDL,TC,TG,T,LH/FSH,HOMA-IR,CM syndrome score changes and follow-up menstrual cycle,pregnancy Statistical analysis of the two groups of patients before and after treatment.During the treatment,5 women fell out,and finally 35 women completed the treatment: the control group has 18 and the treatment group has 17.Results: 1.Comparing the waist circumference,weight and BMI at the start and the end treatment,P <0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Comparison the weight and waist circumference when the treat was ending,the treatment group decreased rapidly,but P> 0.05,which was not statistically significant.Compared with BMI after treatment,the treatment group was kenspeckle improved,P <0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Weight loss,the efficient of the control group was 100%,and the treatment group was 100%.Comparing the two groups,P <0.01,with significant statistical significance.2.Comparison of FPG,FIns,HOMA-IR between the two groups before and after,P <0.01,with statistical significance.Comparing the two groups' results,FIns and HOMA-IR in the treatment group were reduced obviously,P <0.05,the difference was statistically significant.The FPG comparison between the two groups after treatment was P> 0.05,which was not statistically significant.3.Comparison the two groups' HDL,LDL,CHOL before and after treatment,P>0.05,which was not statistically significant,comparing TG level,P <0.05,the difference is statistically significant.The comparison between the two groups' result,P> 0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.4.Comparison of T and LH / FSH before and after treatment between the two groups,P< 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Comparison between the two groups after treatment,P> 0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.5.The comparison of TCM syndrome scores both the start and the end of therapy,P <0.01,has significant difference.Comparison between the two groups after treatment,P <0.05,with statistical significance.Comparing the efficacy of TCM syndromes,the control group efficiency was 83.33%,and the efficient in the treatment group was 100%.Compared between the two groups,P <0.05,with statistical difference.6.Followed up three months after the course of treatment,according to the improvement of menstruation,1 person in the control group was pregnant,6 women had improved menstruation,3 women had no significant change,and the total effective rate was 83.33%.In the treatment group,2 women were pregnant,10 women had normal menstrual cramps,3 cases had improved menstruation,2 womens had no significant changes in menstruation,and the total effective rate was 88.24%.The efficacy between the two groups,P> 0.05,and the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion: 1.Acupoint embedding thread combined with Bushen Jianpi Shugan decoction can reduce the weight,BMI,HOMA-IR,TCM,T,LH/FSH,adjust the menstrual cycle of obese PCOS patients.2.Acupoint catgut embedding combined with Bushen Jianpi Shugan decoction can decrease weight more effectively,reduce waist circumference,reduce insulin resistance,adjust menstrual cycle,and increase clinical efficacy.3.The effect of acupoint thread embedding on reducing blood fat,LH/FSH,T,is not obvious.4.This study shows that the effect of acupoint embedding thread combined with Bushen Jianpi Shugan Decoction on obese PCOS is clear,and its mechanism may be related to weight loss,WAT stimulation,and regulation of inflammatory factors.
