METHODS:90 healthy male rats are randomly divided into control group(18 rats)and model group(72 rats)according to their weight after one week’s adaptive feeding.Distilled water is given to the blank group and strong wine is given to the model group.The amount of alcohol will be gradually increased in the strong wine group.The first 3 days,the 15%alcohol is given by 0.5 ml/100g,and then the 30%alcohol is given by the stomach for 3 days.The amount of alcohol is then increased to 45%and given for 7 weeks.At the end of 7 weeks,3 rats are randomly selected from each group and their livers are taken from after being killed.The liver tissues are made into pathological sections,which are observed under the microscope to determine whether the model was successfully constructed.The model group is randomly divided into model control group,medicine(Tiopronin)group and Cege group.For the blank group,0.5 ml/100g(body weight)of distilled water is infused into the stomach at 8:00 a.m.and 2:00 p.m.respectively.At 8:00 a.m.,the same dose of strong wine is given to the model control group,the medicine group and the Cege group.At 2:00 p.m.,Tiopronin 40 mg/kg(body weight)and 0.5 ml/100g(body weight)is given to the medicine group.In Cege group,the dosage is 2 ml for 4 weeks.After 4 weeks,each group is fasted for 16 hours with water,and anesthetized with 20%urethane 0.5ml/100g intraperitoneal injection,and then bellies are open for celiac vein blood collection.Serum Isolation and detection of ALT,AST,GGT,TC,TG.RESULTS:The test results of alcoholic fatty liver model shows that the liver morphology of the blank group has no fat-like changes.In the model group,the liver tissue morphology shows obvious fat-like changes,indicating that fatty liver has formed.Compared with the blank control group,the serum ALT and AST levels of the model group are significantly higher than that of the blank control group(P<0.05),and the level of Tiopronin group is significantly lower than that of the model group(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,the Cege group significantly reduced the ALT level(P<0.05);In terms of AST,the Tiopronin group.and the Cege group significantly reduced the AST level compared with the model group(P<0.05).Compared with the blank control group,the serum GGT level of the model group is significantly increased(P<0.05),while the GGT levels of the treatment group and the model group are not significantly different.In terms of lipid index,serum TC is significantly increased only when the model group and the blank control group P<0.05.Serum TG is significantly increased when the model group and the blank group are P<0.05,and significantly decreased when the Tiopronin group and the model group are P<0.05.CONCLUSION:Cege can regulate three roots and detoxify,aid digestion,regulate Voxel,promote metabolism,promote decomposition of essence and Dross,replenish blood and improve spirit in alcoholic fatty liver model rats,anti-oxidative stress,inhibit the formation of fatty liver,improve liver dysfunction.Thereby,the aim of treating alcoholic fatty liver is achieved.
