Objective:Through understanding the life and behavior habits of ischemic stroke patients, screening and evaluating the risk factors of patients,to explore the effects of motivational interviewing on the rehabilitation of ischemic stroke patients. Methods:The patients with first ischemic stroke who were hospitalized in our hospital from July 1,2017 to December 31,2017 were randomly divided into intervention group and control group, with 65 people in each group.Collect general sociodemographic data such as gender, age, education, and basic diseases,as well as behavioral data such as lifestyle behaviors. The control group performed routine treatment, nursing, and early rehabilitation in accordance with the current national guidelines. They were given discharge guidance and follow-up after discharge. On the basis of the control group, the intervention group was conducted by the researcher through motivational interviewing in the form of face-to-face interviews, which were conducted in three times, and telephone interviews twice a month. Before intervention,3months after intervention and 6 months after intervention,The National Institutes of Health Stroke(NIHSS),Modified Rankin Scale(mRS),Barthel scale(BI),Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA),recurrence ratewere used to evaluate the effect of intervention. The data was processed and analyzed using SPSS22.0 statistical analysis software.Results:1.The total number of follow-ups in this study was 122,including 62 in the control group and 60 in the intervention group. There were no significant differences in sociodemographic data(such as age, gender, cultural level, history of basic diseases, etc.)and behavioral data(smoking, drinking, lifestyle habits, etc.)on the baseline.(P > 0.05).2.Before the intervention, the NIHSS score,mRS score,BI score,MoCAscore were(11.45±4.97),(1.97±1.493),(58.06±27.20),(16.34±6.987)in the control group. The NIHSS score,mRS score,BI score,MoCA score were(12.03±4.57),(2.17±1.475),(56.75±28.46),(14.52±7.002)in the intervention group. There was no significant difference between the two groups(P> 0.05).3.After 3 months of intervention, the NIHSS score,mRS score,BI score,MoCA score were(7.66±4.84),(1.81±1.42),(67.32±25.79),(20.89±6.42)in the control group. The NIHSS score,mRS score,BI score,MoCA score were(6.05±3.70),(1.60±1.17),(73.58±23.79),(23.03±5.42)in the intervention group. The intervention group was superior to the control group in terms of NIHSS score and MoCA score(P <0.05),and there was no significant difference between the intervention group and the control group in terms of mRS score and BI score(P>0.05).And the scores of the two groups were improved compared with the same group when they were hospitalized(P < 0.05).After 6 months of intervention, the NIHSS score,mRS score,BI score,MoCA score were(5.56±4.76),(1.48±1.22),(74.68±21.38),(24.48±4.03)in the control group.the NIHSS score,mRS score,BI score,MoCA score were(3.28±3.16),(1.03±1.02),(83.41±20.30),(26.15±2.35).The results showed that the intervention group was superior to the control group in terms of NIHSS score,mRS score,BI score, and MoCA score(P<0.05).And the scores of the two groups were improved significantly compared with 3 months intervention(P <0.05).4.The recurrence rate was 8.1% in the control group and 3.3% in the intervention group, but there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P> 0.05).Conclusions:1.The motivational interviewing can significantly improve the prognosis of stroke patients, and the effect is more obvious at 6 months of intervention.2.The motivational interviewing can reduce the stroke recurrence rate, butthere is no statistical difference between the two groups.
