Effects Of Matrine In Treating Mild To Moderate Psoriasis Vulgaris Externally And It's Effect On TNF-??IL-17 In Peripheral Blood

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of matrine external use only in the treatment of mild to moderate psoriasis vulgaris and it's effect on peripheral blood TNF-? and IL-17.Methods:(1)A total 120 patients who met the criteria were randomly divided into 3 groups.The experimental group was given matrine gel,one of the control groups was given tretinoin,the another was given glucocorticoid.(2)To observe the PASI and DLQI scores at the 0th,2nd,4th,6th,8th weekends in three groups and calculate PASI75.(3)To measure the level of TNF-? and IL-17 before and after matrine external use only.(4)All patients were recorded the related adverse actions.Results:1.PASI scores of the 3 groups presences time and grouping interaction at 0,2,4,6,8 weeks specifically and PASI gradually decreased with treatment time.The differences were statistically significant(P <0.01).The improvement of the matrine group was lower than the glucocorticoid group at 2th weekend and higher than the tretinoin group.The improvement of the matrine group was same with the glucocorticoid group at 4th weekend and higher than the tretinoin group.The changes at6 th,8th was same with 4th weekend.2.DLQI scores of the 3 groups presences time and grouping interaction at 0,2,4,6,8 weeks specifically and PASI gradually decreased with treatment time.The differences were statistically significant(P <0.01).There was no significant difference the three groups at 2th weekend.The improvement of the matrine group was same with the glucocorticoid group at 4th weekend and higher than the tretinoin group.The changes at 6th,8th was same with 4th weekend.3.The improvement of PASI and DLQI of the matrine group was same with the glucocorticoid group and better than the tretinoin group.4.The ratio PASI75 in matrine group at the 2,4,6,8th weekend were0.0%,10.0%,27.5%,82.5%.The ratio of PASI75 in tretinoin group were0.0%,0.0%,20.0%,47.5%.The ratio of PASI75 in glucocorticoid group at the 2,4,6,8th weekend were 0.0%,10.0%,55.0%,85.0%.5.The level of TNF-? ? IL-17 was lower than treat before.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).6.There was two cases dropped in the tretinoin group for dry and pain of skin,there was no drop in other two groups.Conclusion: The matrine gel for the treatment of mild to moderate psoriasis can not only get better efficacy,but also has higher safety and is worthy of clinical promotion.It's effects maybe corrected with decreased the levels of TNF-??IL-17.However,there need to be more further study.
