Objective :1.To identify the characteristics of homocysteine metabolic pathway in Parkinson's disease;2.To analyze the correlation between the course of Parkinson's disease, the severity of the disease, the score of exercise examination and the level of homocysteine metabolic pathway index. Methods :53 patients with Parkinson's disease who were admitted to the Department of Neurology from November 2017 to December 2019 were collected by retrospective study method, and 51 healthy subjects were selected as control group. The basic information and homocysteine metabolic pathway indexes, including homocysteine(Hcy),cysteine(Cys),methionine(Met),in parkinson's disease group and healthy control group were collected, and the time of illness,Hoehn and Yahr(H-Y)stage,Schrag motor classification of parkinson's disease group were recorded. The patients were assessed using the unified parkinson's disease rating scale(UPDRS)part?.1.The difference between baseline data and homocysteine metabolic pathway in parkinson's disease and control group were compared;2.The multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to explore the risk factors of parkinson's disease;3.The patients in Parkinson's disease group were divided into >3 years group and ?3 years group according to the course of disease, mild group(1-2),moderate group(2.5-3)and severe group(4-5)according to the H-Y stage, ankylosing group, tremor group and mixed group according to the Schrag motor classification, and compared the differences between the indexes of homocysteine metabolic pathway detection,to understand thesituation of homocysteine metabolic pathway index in different course, severity and different motor classification of Parkinson's disease patients;4.Spearman correlation analysis was used to investigate the correlation between homocysteine metabolic pathway index and UPDRS? score, course of parkinson's disease and disease severity. Results :1.There was no significant difference in age and sex between Parkinson's disease group and healthy control group(p>0.05).2.One of the homocysteine metabolic pathway detection index-homocysteine was significantly higher in Parkinson's disease group than in control group(p<0.05);cysteine level was higher in parkinson's disease group than in control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(p>0.05);there was no significant difference in methionine level between the two groups(p>0.05);the binomial variable logistic regression analysis revealed homocysteine(Hcy)as an risk factor for parkinson's disease(p<0.05).3.To compare the difference of homocysteine metabolic pathway in Parkinson's disease group.According to the course of disease, there was no significant difference in the indexes of homocysteine metabolic pathway between >3 years group and ?3 years group(p>0.05).According to the H-Y stage, homocysteine level increased with H-Y stage(p<0.05),and cysteine level increased with H-Y stage too(p<0.05),but there was no significant difference in methionine level with H-Y stage(p>0.05).According to the Schrag motor classification,it was divided into ankylosing group, tremor group and mixed group, and there was no significant difference in the level of homocysteine metabolic pathway index between the three groups(p>0.05).4.Spearman correlation analysis showed that in homocysteine metabolic pathway index there was a correlation between homocysteine level and disease severity(p<0.05),with UPDRS? score(p<0.05),with no significant correlation with parkinson's disease course, and there was a correlation between the level of cysteine and the severity of the disease(p<0.05),but there was no significant correlation with the UPDRS? score and the course of Parkinson's disease(p>0.05).There was no significant correlation between methionine level and disease severity,UPDRS? score, and parkinson's disease course(p>0.05).Conclusion :1.As one of the homocysteine metabolic pathway detection index, homocysteine level was significantly increased in patients with parkinson's disease and cysteine level was slightly increased in patients with parkinson's disease, but the difference was not statistically significant.2.Homocysteine is an risk factor for parkinson's disease.3.Homocysteine level and cysteine level were significantly higher in patients with high H-Y stage than in those with low H-Y stage.4.Homocysteine level was positively correlated with UPDRS? score, disease severity, and cysteine level was positively correlated with disease severity.
