| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of zhuang medicine bamboo jar therapy for knee osteoarthritis,so asto provide clinical evidence for the further promotion of zhuang medicine bamboo jar therapy for knee osteoarthritis.Methods: In this clinical trial,60 patients with knee osteoarthritis who met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into zhuang medicine bamboo jar therapy group and control group,30 patients in each group.Basic treatment: according to the "guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of osteoarthritis" issued by Chinese rheumatology branch in 2010,oral administration of celecoxib capsules and glucosamine sulfate effervescent tablets were given.Zhuang medicine bamboo jar therapy group:in the basic treatment,add zhuang medicine bamboo jar therapy.Control group: basic treatment.Treatment duration: 4 weeks,1 follow-up visit after 1month of treatment.The WOMAC scoring scale was used to evaluate the dynamic function of knee joint.Lysholm scale was used to evaluate the functional stability of knee joint.The AIMS score scale was used to assess the quality of life of patients with knee osteoarthritis.After the treatment,according to the WOMAC scale before and after the treatment,the overall efficacy of the two groups was evaluated according to the relevant efficacy criteria in the 2012 edition of TCM disease syndrome diagnosis and curative effect criteria·bone disease.The software adopts SPSS21.0 statistical software,and all the results are directly output by the computer.The safety of the treatment was evaluated by observing the patients' vital signs,the adverse events in the treatment of bamboo jar of zhuang medicine(including scald,dizzy canisters,skin allergy,etc.)and the side effects of taking western medicine.Results:(1)Comparison of baseline data of patients in the two groups(including gender,age,course of disease,location of disease,radiology classification,bone and joint function classification,WOMAC scale score,Lysholm scale score and AIMS scale score)showed no statistically significant difference(P>0.05),indicating comparability.(2)Pain improvement: After the treatment,compared with before the treatment: the pain index score in WOMAC scale decreased,and the pain index score in Lysholm scale increased,the differences were statistically significant(P <0.01).After the treatment,the two groups were compared: the pain index scores in WOMAC scale and Lysholm scale were compared,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The difference between before and after pain index in WOMAC scale and Lysholm scale was statistically significant(P<0.01).Bamboo jar therapy of zhuang medicine has the curative effect of relieving pain.(3)Clinical efficacy: After the treatment,the scores of WOMAC scale,Lysholm scale and AIMS scale in the two groups were improved,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Comparison between the two groups after treatment: the scores of WOMAC scale,Lysholm scale and AIMS scale were compared between the two groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The difference between the scores of WOMAC scale,Lysholm scale and AIMS scale between the two groups was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The Bamboo jar therapy group of zhuang medicine canimprove the activity function of knee joint,improve the stability of knee joint function and improve the quality of life of patients.(4)Overall efficacy:compared with the overall efficacy of zhuang medicine in the two groups,the total number of effective cases in the zhuang medicine Bamboo jar therapy group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Bamboo jar therapy of zhuang medicine can improve the overall efficacy of zhuang medicine in patients with knee osteoarthritis.(5)Follow-up: after 1 month of treatment,there was no significant change in the AIMS scale score in the zhuang medicine and Bamboo jar therapy group,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).In the control group,the AIMS scale score was increased,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Zhuang medicine bamboo jar therapy can continuously maintain the patients' quality of life.(6)No obvious side effects occurred during the trial period.No adverse events such as dizzy canister,scald and allergic reaction occurred in the treatment process of zhuang medicine bamboo jar therapy.Conclusion: Bamboo jar therapy of zhuang medicine can effectively relieve the knee joint pain symptoms of the patients in daily life,or when walking(or heavy labor activities).Zhuang medicine bamboo jar therapy can improve the knee joint activity,improve the stability of knee joint function and improve patients' quality of life.Bamboo jar therapy of zhuang medicine has a good clinical effect on the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,which is worthy of being popularized in clinical practice. |
