Objective: The incidence of fever, liver pain, abdominal distension, constipation, nausea and vomiting in patients with the TACE postoperative syndrome of the Primary Liver Cancer,as well as its influence on TCM syndromes,KPS scores and liver function indicators were observed through randomized controlled clinical study, which aim to explore the clinical effect and safety of guizhi added dahuang decoction combined with catgut embedding therapy treating on the TACE postoperative syndrome of the primary liver cancer,as well as its influence on TCM syndromes,KPS score and liver function,to provide an objective basis for guizhi adde dahuang decoction combined with catgut embedding therapy treating on the TACE postoperative syndrome of the primary liver cancer. Methods: 46 patients with the TACE postoperative syndrome of the primary liver cancer were randomly divided into control group and treatment group averagely(n=23).The control group were given conventional western medicine symptomatic treatment(antipyretic,anti-emetic,liver protection, analgesia). The treatment group were treated with catgut embedding therapy at preoperative d1 and oral administration guizhi added dahuang decoction addition and subtraction at postoperative d1-d7 based on symptomatic treatment of western medicine. The incidence of fever, live pain, bloating, constipation, nausea and vomiting at postoperative d1-d7 was recorded. The liver function of patients at preoperative d1 and postoperative d7 was recorded, and the TCM syndrome and KPS scores were evaluated at postoperative d1 to d7.The data were analyzed by using SPSS21.0 software to explore the therapeutic effect of guizhi added dahuang decoction combined with catgut embedding therapy treating on the TACE postoperative syndrome of the primary liver cancer.Results:(1)There was no statistical difference on the age, gender, clinical stage, and KPS scores between control group and treatment group(P > 0.05).(2)Fever cases in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05).(3)The degree of bloating and of constipation in the treatment group were lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05).(4)The degree of nausea and vomiting in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05)(5)The degree of liver pain in treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05).(6)In terms of persistence of symptoms, the treatment group were significantly lower than the control group(P <0.05).(7)The TCM syndrome scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P <0.05).(8)The KPS scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05).(9)Liver function indicators(ALT and ALT)of the two groups were increased at d7 postoperatively, but the increase in the treatment group were significantly lower than that in the control group(P <0.05).Conclusion: guizhi added dahuang decoction combined with catgut embedding therapy can effectively reduce the incidence of fever, bloating, constipation, liver pain, nausea, vomiting and persistence of symptoms in patients with the TACE postoperative syndrome of the primary liver cancer.
