Objective: to explore the clinical efficacy of acupuncture myofascial trigger point, massage manipulation and muscle energy technique in the treatment of low back myofascial pain syndrome, and to develop a reasonable and optimized treatment scheme for low back myofascial pain syndrome. Methods: ninety patients with low back myofascial pain syndrome were randomly divided into acupuncture myofascial trigger point group(n =30),massage group(n = 30)and muscle energy technique group(n = 30).The patients in the three groups were treated with acupuncture inactivated myofascial trigger point, routine massage and muscle energy technique respectively. The simplified Mc Gill pain questionnaire,Roland-Morris dysfunction questionnaire(RMDQ),lumbar function JOA score, safety evaluation, case completion and curative effect evaluation were recorded and observed before treatment,1 week,3 weeks and one month after treatment.Results:1.There was no significant difference in sex, age, course of disease, height, weight and body mass index among the three groups(P >0.05).2.There was no significant difference in the scores of simplified Mc Gill pain questionnaire,Roland-Morris dysfunction questionnaire(RMDQ)and lumbar function JOA among the three groups before treatment(P >0.05).3.According to the comparison of PRI emotion degree,PRI pain degree,PPI,RMDQ and JOA scores among the three groups at different time points, there were significant differences between MET group and acupuncture group and massage group since one week of treatment, but there was no significant difference between acupuncture group and massage group. There was interaction between time factor and treatment method, which indicated that time factor played a different role in different treatment schemes. With the passage of time, the score improvement effect of acupuncture group and massage group was significantly higher than that of MET group.4.At 1 week of treatment, there was no significant difference in VAS among the three groups. At 3 weeks and 1 month after treatment, there was no significant difference between acupuncture group and massage group, but there was significant difference between MET group and acupuncture group and massage group(P < 0.05).5.In the acupuncture group, there was 1 case of hematoma after acupuncture, and the hematoma disappeared after 2 days, and the adversereactions were effectively controlled. There were no treatment-related adverse reactions in the other two groups,so it could be seen that the three groups had high safety in the treatment of patients with low back MPS.Conclusion: 1.Acupuncture myofascial pain trigger points, massage and muscle energy technique can improve the pain degree, daily functional activities and lumbar function of patients with low back myofascial pain syndrome.acupuncture myofascial pain trigger point and massage are superior to muscle energy technique in improving degree, but there is no significant difference in acupuncture myofascial pain trigger point and massage.2.Acupuncture myofascial pain trigger points, massage and muscle energy technique all have good dependence and safety.
