Objective Meta analysis system was used to evaluate the efficacy and safety of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of colorectal cancer. To provide the basis for the treatment of colorectal cancer with the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Method In various medical databases at home and abroad, such as China medical database,CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,China clinical trial registration center,Pub Med,EMBASE,Cochrane, and the United States clinical trial center,we use "traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine,Chinese herbal medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, proprietary Chinese medicine" "Colorectal cancer, colorectal cancer, colorectal cancer, colorectal cancer, rectal cancer, colorectal cancer, colorectal cancer, rectal cancer, rectal cancer, anal cancer, anal cancer" For subject words and free words, search relevant literature published in 2010-2019 with experiment type of "random experiment,RCT,random and random control";then determine the selected literature according to the pre-determined inclusion and exclusion criteria;then eliminate the repeated literature through endnote document management software and conduct manual review;next, exclude the review by reading the remaining literature Systematic evaluation, animal experiments and other documents that are obviously not related to the research topic;carefully read the abstract again for the remaining documents, and further download and read the full text,so as to exclude non RCT or documents with inconsistent research methods and outcome indicators. For the literature to be meta analyzed, firstly refer to the quality evaluation standard provided by Cochrane manual to evaluate its quality, and then collect and sort out the corresponding outcome index data in the literature. After double check and confirmation, select Revman 5.3or stata15.1 software according to the actual situation for data entry and statistical analysis;then analyze the heterogeneity of the literature, and make decisions according to the analysis results The fixed or random effect model was used, and then the sensitivity test was carried out,and the combined effect amount and publication bias analysis were calculated by software. At last, the reasonable conclusion is drawn and some discussion is made.Result1.To analyze the objective therapeutic effect of tumor in the experimental group and the control group.Through the heterogeneity test,I 2 = 0% < 50%,and P = 0.972 > 0.1 in the Q test,it is suggested that there is no heterogeneity between the selected literatures in this study,so the fixed effect model can be selected for meta analysis. The or value of 46 studies was 1.915,and the 95%confidence interval was 1.678-2.186,which was statistically significant,z = 9.64,P < 0.05,suggesting that the effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western Medicine on colorectal cancer was better than that of chemotherapy alone. And based on the Begg bias test,P = 0.985 > 0.05,which means that there is no publication bias in the 46 articles selected in this study.2.For KPS score, through heterogeneity test,I2 = 0% < 50%,and P = 0.763 > 0.1 of Q test,it indicates that there is no heterogeneity between the selected literatures in this study, and fixed effect is selected for meta-analysis.The or value of 28 studies was 3.325,95% confidence interval was 2.769-3.992,which was statistically significant,z = 12.88,P < 0.05,suggesting that the improvement of KPS by the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine was better than that of chemotherapy alone.3.The data heterogeneity of immune indexes and tumor markers CEA and CA199 is too large to analyze.4.For the toxic reaction of blood and digestive tract, the fixed effect model was also selected by heterogeneity test, after meta analysis,P < 0.05.It is suggested that the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine can improve the side effects. Conclusion the curative effect of oral Chinese medicine combined with western medicine chemotherapy is better than that of chemotherapy alone, but the quality of relevant literature included in the study is low, which results in a certain limit of persuasion. Therefore, large sample,double-blind,multicenter randomized controlled trials are still needed to further verify or supplement this conclusion.
