Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Persistent Postural-perceptual Dizziness With Xiaoxingnao Acupuncture And Citalopram

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Xiaoxingnao acupuncture combined with citalopram in the treatment of persistent postural-perceptual dizziness.Methods:Collected 62 patients with persistent postural-perceptual dizziness(17 males and 45females)who were treated in the neurology department of the affiliated hospital of shanxi university of traditional chinese medicine from october 2017 to april 2019.randomized digital tables were randomly divided into treatment and control groups,31 each.Both groups of patients were treated with oxaloacetamol tablets,while the treatment group was treated with Xiaoxingnao acupuncture for 8 weeks.the scores of vertigo disability scale(DHI),hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),hamilton depression scale(HAMD)and pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)before and after treatment were recorded in the two groups.the data were analyzed by SPSS22.0 software,and the statistical analysis was carried out by using the experimental design of their own pre-and post-control and inter-group comparison.Results:1.Vertigo disability scale(DHI)evaluation: after 8 weeks of treatment,the DHI scores of the two groups decreased compared with that before treatment,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the two treatments could improve the vertigo symptoms in different degrees.2.The hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)evaluation: after 8 weeks of treatment,the HAMA scores of the two groups decreased compared with those before treatment.the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the two treatments could improve the anxiety symptoms in different degrees.after treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group improved anxiety symptoms better than the control group.3.The hamilton depression scale(HAMD)evaluation: after 8 weeks of treatment,the HAMD scores of the two groups decreased compared with those before treatment.the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the two treatments could improve the depressive symptoms in different degrees.after treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group improved the depressive symptoms better than the control group.4.Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)Evaluation: after 8 weeks of treatment,the PSQI scores of the two groups decreased compared with that before treatment,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the two treatments could improve the sleep disorder in different degrees.5.Evaluation of overall efficacy:Treatment group: cure 7 cases,significant effect 15 cases,effective 6 cases,ineffective 2 cases,total effective rate 93.33%.Control group: cure 1 case,significant effect 6 cases,effective 12 cases,ineffective 9cases,total effective rate 67.86%.After statistical analysis,p<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,indicating that the overall effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.6.Adverse reaction evaluation: there was 1 case of adverse reaction in the treatment group and 6 cases in the control group.After statistical analysis,the P< was 0.05,the difference was statistically significant,indicating that the safety of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:Xiaoxingnao acupuncture combined with citalopram can significantly improve the subjective symptoms such as dizziness in patients with persistent posture-perceptual dizziness,alleviate anxiety,depression and other bad emotions,improve sleep quality,and safety without side effects,the curative effect is better than citalopram alone,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
