| Artermisia rupestris L.(Compositae)is mainly distributed in Tianshan Altai region and Kunlun Mountains of Xinjiang as well as Mongolia and Russian.The dried herb of A.rupestris and its prescription have a long history of medicinal use in Xinjiang,and have been used for the treatment of cold fever caused by viruses,snake bites and rheumatoid arthritis.However,little is known about its phytochemical composition and biological activities.In this study,the phytochemical components of the active ethyl acetate fraction of alcohol extract of the herb was systematically studied.As a result,27 compounds were isolated and identified from A.rupestris,includi ng 7 flavonoids: 6-demethoxy-4-β-O-methylcapillarisin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(1),tilianin(2),6-demethoxy-4’-O-methylcapillarisin(9),chrysosplenetin B(10),l uteolin(21),1-doubly linked oxygen-5-hydroxy-4’-methoxy-isoflavanone-7-O-β-D-gl ucopyranoside(23),artemetin(24);4 sesquiterpenes: pechueloic acid 12-O-β-D-gl ucopyranoside(3),1,5-epoxy-4-hydroxyguai-11(13)-en-oic acid(11),rupestonic aci d I(18),rupestonic acid J(19);3 coumarins: imperatorin(16),phellopterin(17),7-methoxycoumarin(20);3 phenolic acids: 2,5-di-tert-butylphenol(8),vanillin(22),2,2’-oxybis(1,4-di-tert-butylbenzene)(27);2 polyacetylenes: 2α-(2’,4’-hexadiynoyl)-1,6-dioxasapiro[4,5]-deca-3-ene(13),-5-(4-hydroxybutyl)-5-methoxy-2,5-dihydrofura n-2-yl)hexa-2,4-diyn-1-one(12);3 sterols:stigmasterol(15)、β-sitosterol(25)、da ucosterol(26);1 amide: erucylamide(4),and 4 aliphatic acids: octadecyl 3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propanoate(5),methyl linolenate(6),8,11-octadecadi enoic acid(7),and palmitic acid(14).Among these compounds,12,18,and 19 are new compounds;6,13,16,20 and 22 are isolated from the genus Artermisa for the first time;4,5,7,8,17 and 27 are isolated from this plant for the firs t time. |
