The Clinical Control Study On The Treatment Of Cold And Dampness-Resistant Knee Osteoarthritis

Objective: This research aims to evaluate the therapeutic effect of bi topical prescription on Knee osteoarthritis(KOA),and to prove the effectiveness of TCM external treatment,namely,wine vinegar hot sesame,in the treatment of osteoarthritis.Methods:in this study,60 patients with KOA were randomly divided into treatment group(n = 30)and control group(n = 30).The treatment group:(1)in addition to bi external use of square made of vinegar hot election package,1 time/day,every 6 days to rest for 1 day;(2)celecoxib capsules were taken orally at 200mg/ time,1 time /d,orally.(3)glucosamine sulfate capsules 0.628g/ time,3 times /d.Results:(1)celecoxib 200mg/ time,1 time /d,oral;(2)glucosamine sulfate capsules 0.628g/ time,3 times /d,oral administration.The treatment period and observation period of both groups were 4 weeks.Visual analog scale(VAS),WOMAC(Western Ontario and McMaster Universities),osteoarthritis index score,symptom and sign score(joint tenderness,swelling,activity)and TCM syndrome score in week 0,1,2 and 4.Of SPSS20.0 statistical analysis software for statistical analysis.Results: 57 patients were analyzed,including 28 in the treatment group and 29 in the control group:(1)both groups could reduce VAS score,WOMAC osteoarthritis index score,symptom and sign score(joint tenderness,swelling,activity)and TCM syndrome score(P < 0.05).(2)after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment,WAS score,WOMAC score,symptoms and signs score in the treatment group decreased significantly compared with the control group,which WAS statistically significant after statistical analysis(P < 0.05).(3)after treatment for 2 weeks and 4 weeks,both groups could reduce the TCM syndrome score,and the treatment group was better than the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1.The external application of hot election pack made of wine vinegar in addition to bi can effectively improve the joint tenderness,swelling and mobility of KOA patients,and reduce the VAS and WOMAC index scores of osteoarthritis.2.This can reduce TCM syndrome score.3.It indicates that there is a good prospect for the external application ofhot election package made of wine and vinegar in addition to bi.
