Obejective : We measured serum concentrations of high mobility group box 1(HMGB1),interleukin 6(IL-6),interleukin 10(IL-10),interferon-?(IFN-?),interleukin 23(IL-23)and interleukin 17(IL-17)in patients with cervical cancer and patients with intraepithelial lesion,analysis the relationship between HMGB1 and the clinicopathological characteristics to evaluate its clinical significance.Methods:We selected 78 patients diagnosed with cervical cancer in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang medical university from September 2015 to June 2018,50 patients diagnosed with high-grade intraepithelial lesion,48 patients diagnosed with low-grade intraepithelial lesion,at the same time,41 normal people were selected as healthy control group.All subjects were tested for serum HMGB1 by enzyme-linked immune sorbent assay.Results:The difference of HMGB1,IL-6,IL-10,IFN-?,IL-23 and IL-17 in 4 groups was statistically significant(P<0.01);serum HMGB1(113.63±48.50?g/L)in CC group is higher than HSIL group(46.23±13.76?g/L),LSIL group(15.24±7.80?g/L)and HC group(9.15±5.32?g/L)(P<0.05),HSIL group is higher than LSIL and HC groups(P<0.05),and LSIL groups is higher than HC group(P<0.05);FIGO Phase II,with lymph node metastasis,HPV-positive CC patients serum HMGB1level(143.56±27.35?g/L,142.58±26.84?g/L,119.30±45.21?g/L)is higher than FIGO Phase I(101.12±50.10?g/L),no lymph node metastasis(101.53±50.55?g/L)and HPV negative patients(89.85±56.01?g/L)(P<0.05);Serum level of HMGB1,IL-6,IL-10,IL-23,and IL-7decreased in 54 patients with curative resection after operation(P<0.05),while IFN-? increased(P<0.05).HMGB1 levels is positively correlated with the levels of IL-6(r=0.536,P<0.001),IL-10(r=0.380,P=0.001),IL-23(r=0.420,P<0.001)and IL-17(r=0.253,P=0.025),,and IFN-?(r=-0.585,P<0.001)is negatively correlated;HMGB1 levels is positively correlated with the levels of IL-10(r=0.200,P=0.209),IL-23(r=0.031,P=0.849),and IL-6(r=-0.371,P=0.017),IFN-?(r=-0.229,P=0.149),IL-17(r=-0.534,P=0.000)is negatively correlated in healthy control group;When the optimal truncating value of HMGB1 is 25.39?g/L,the AUC for diagnostic CC is 0.988,the sensitivity is 92.31%,and the specificity is100.00%.Conclusion : Serum HMGB1 plays an important role in the development of cervical cancer,which can promote or inhibit the expression of various inflammatory factors,and serum HMGB1 level can be used as the experimental basis for finding CC patients auxiliary diagnostic indicators.
