| Objective: To study the growth,acid production,insoluble extracellular polysaccharides production and adhesion of Arnebia euchroma on the main cariogenic bacteria and biofilms.Methods:(1)The minimum inhibitory concentration and growth inhibition rate of Arnebia euchroma against the main cariogenic bacteria were determined by microplate method,The minimum bactericidal concentration was determined by coating plate method;(2)The minimum biofilm inhibition concentration,minimum biofilm eradication concentration,minimum biofilm reduction concentration was determined by microtiter plate method;(3)The effects of the 2 times minimum inhibitory concentration,minimum biofilm eradication concentration and the following three drug concentrations Arnebia euchroma on acid production of the main cariogenic bacteria and biofilms by measuring the 24 h Δ pH values,insoluble extracellular polysaccharides production were observed by phenol sulfuric acid method,adhesion ability was determined by glass wall method.Results:(1)The minimum inhibitory concentration of the Arnebia euchroma against S.mutans,S.sobrinus,S.sanguis,A.naeslundii,A.viscosus and L.acidophilus were 1g/L,4g/L,1g/L,4g/L,2g/L,1g/L,minimum bactericidal concentration were 8g/L,8g/L,4g/L,8g/L,4g/L,4g/L.(2)The minimum biofilm inhibition concentration of the Arnebia euchroma against S.mutans,S.sobrinus,S.sanguis,A.naeslundii,A.viscosus and L.acidophilus were 4g/L,4g/L,2g/L,2g/L,4g/L,2g/L,minimum biofilm eradication concentration were 16g/L,16g/L,8g/L,16g/L,16g/L,8g/L,minimum biofilm reduction concentration were 8g/L,16g/L,8g/L,8g/L,8g/L,8g/L.(3)2 times minimum inhibitory concentration,minimum biofilm eradication concentration and the following three concentrations of Arnebia euchroma inhibited the ability of the main cariogenic bacteria and biofilms to produce acid,insoluble extracellular polysaccharides production and adhesion,compared with the negative control group,the difference was statisticallysignificant(P<0.05).Conclusion: The Arnebia euchroma has inhibitory effect on the growth,acid production,insoluble extracellular polysaccharides production and adhesion of main cariogenic bacteria and biofilms. |
