Objective Acute spinal cord injury is a serious threat to human health, the incidence rate and disability rate in our country were increased year by year, though some concept of treatment and nursing mode is changing, makingthe hospital treatment and referral of patient safety and complications decreased significantly, improve the efficiency of medical service, but there is still a lack certain system. The purpose of this study is to investigate a new kind of comprehensive management mode for acute spinal cord injury, through a systematic, standardized treatment improved neurological function in patients with spinal cord injury, reduce the lung, urinary tract and skin infection and contracture of joints and other complications, improve patient quality of life, and improve the satisfaction of patients and their families. Methods There were 89 cases of acute spinal cord injuries during January 2013 to January 2015 in Liaocheng People's Hospital,of which 32 were accepted into the management model group,20 males,12 females, average age was 39.8 + 10.1 years, cervical injury in 16 cases,9 cases of thoracic injury, loss of lumbar spine injury in 7 cases, admission sensory function score 92.4 + 30.5,motor function score 38.6 + 13.8.Patients were involved in the acute spinal cord injury treatment management mode of management.Admitted in the same period but not to carry on the comprehensive treatment and management of patients with 57 cases as control group,38 men,19 women, mean age 40.4 + 10.5 years, cervical injury in 16 cases,9 cases of thoracic injury, lumbar spine injury in 7 cases, admission sensory function score 93.5 + 31.4.Motor function score 39.7 + 15.1.Respectively,at the time of admission,1,3 and 6 months after treatment, the score standardization, was used to assesse motor and sensory function of patients.Meanwhile,we also explore the satisfaction of patients and their families. Results After treatment for one and three months, the experimental group's feeling, motor function scores were improved significantly, compared with the control group(P<0.05).6months after treatment, the experimental group are still significantly recovering, while the control group's movement, sensory function scores were not significantly improved again(P <0.05).Through the follow-up,we knew that the satisfaction survey of patients and their families in the the experimental group was better than the other group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions The management of acute spinal cord injury treatment have a good clinical effect, and was worth promoting.
