Objective To investigate the application value and safety of magnetic capsule endoscopy(MCE)in the screening of small bowel diseases, and to understand the classification of small bowel lesions. Methods The clinical data of 92 patients who underwent endoscopic magnetic resonance capsules in our department of gastroenterology from October 2015 to December 2018 were retrospectively recorded. The running time of capsules in the stomach and small intestine, the completion rate of small intestine examination, and capsules were collected. The retention rate and adverse reactions were analyzed. The classification of lesions detected in the stomach, small intestine and colon was analyzed, and the classification and detection rate of small intestine lesions in different age groups, gender groups and different symptom groups were obtained.Statistical analysis was performed on the relevant data using SPSS 16.0 statistical software.Results(1)All patients who participated in the examination swallowed the capsule smoothly. The incidence of adverse reactions during the examination was 1.09%,and the retention rate of the magnetron capsule endoscope was 0(2)the average of the operation of the magnetron capsule endoscope in the stomach. The time was(44.63 ±15.92)min,and the average time of operation in the small intestine was(273.02 ±47.51)min.The detection rate of gastric lesions was higher than that of small intestine and colon(P<0.05),and the lesions detected in the stomach were more than those detected in the small intestine and colon.(3)The detection rate of small intestine lesions was 21.74%,and the lesions were detected: small intestine erosive lesions(9.78%),small intestinal ulcer lesions(5.43%),small intestinal vascular lesions(3.26%),intestinal polyps(2.17%)Small intestinal lymphatic dilatation(1.09%).(4)There was no significant difference in the detection rate of small bowel lesions between male patients and female patients(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the detection rate of small bowel lesions in the elderly,middle-aged and young groups(P>0.05).The detection rate of small intestinal lesions in the gastrointestinal bleeding group was higher than that in unexplained abdominal pain, physical examination, and other symptom groups(P <0.05),and the small intestinal lesions detected by the patients in the gastrointestinal bleeding group and the abdominal pain group were detected by erosion and Ulcers predominate.Conclusion(1)Magnetic controlled capsule endoscopy not only has a high diagnostic rate for gastric diseases, but also has important significance for the screening of intestinal lesions. The examination process is non-invasive,convenient,and has wide applicability and no obvious defects.Responses and complications can be generally applied to the screening of lower gastrointestinal lesions.(2)There was no difference in the detection rate of small intestinal lesions of different genders and different ages. The detection rate of gastrointestinal bleeding was the highest with magnetron capsule gastroscopy.
