ObjectThrough the study of the serum metabolomics of girls with central precocious puberty, the biomarkers in their serum were found and their metabolomic pathways were discussed,so as to provide reference for the early detection of central precocious puberty.MethodThe case samples were from a girl diagnosed as central sexual precocity by the department of endocrinology of a hospital in shenzhen city. The control samples were healthy girls randomly selected from the target physical examination school in shenzhen city. The age difference of the cases(within 3 months)was matched 1:1,and 104 case control samples were included.Serum was collected in both cases.Serum samples were determined by high resolution high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. The R software(version3.5.2)was used for parametric and non-parametric testing, principal component analysis, partial least 20%discriminant analysis and orthogonal partial least 20%discriminant analysis. To investigate the different metabolites and metabolic pathways in the serum of central precocious girls and healthy girls in Shenzhen.ResultsA total of 104 subjects were included in this study,52 in the case group and 52 in the control group. The 7-year-old group was the most age group, accounting for 53%.This was followed by the 8-year-old group(41%).The 6-year-old group(6%)was less numerous. In this study,case-control matching was conducted according to age,and the results showed that the age of the case group was 7.85±0.47 years old,and that of the control group was 7.80±0.46 years old,P=0.619.The height of the case group was 132.22±5.40 cm,and that of the control group was126.33±6.20 cm,P<0.001.Body weight was 29.25±4.55 kg in the case group and 24.35±5.26 kg in the control group,P<0.001.Case group BMI16.16±3.36 kg/m~2,control group BMI15.24±2.96 kg/m~2,P=0.123.In this study,72 metabolic substances with significant inter-group differences were found,of which 47 were in the positive ion mode, including 40 up-regulated and 7 down-regulated.25 in anion mode, including 10 up and 15 down. There were significant differences between the two groups of metabolic pathways for metabolic pathways, linoleic acid, arachidonic acid metabolism pathway, the Krebs cycle and glycerol phospholipid metabolism pathway, one of the important differences metabolites of PGE2,PGF2 alpha,LTD4,5-hydroxy twenty four carbon olefine acid,PC(now),two phosphoric acid thiamine,androstenedione,11 beta hydroxy testosterone, cortisol, and 12,13-DiHOME,9,10-DiHOME,important metabolism pathways of arachidonic acid metabolism pathway, linoleic acid metabolic pathways, tricarboxylic acid cycle.Conclusion1.This study found that PGE2,PGF2,LTD4,5-hydroxyeicosape ntaenoic acid,PC(18:1),thiamine diphosphate, lysophosphate, phosp hatidylcholine,androdione,11 pah-hydroxytestosterone,cortisol and12,13-dihome,9,10-dihome are important differential metabolites o f girls with central precocious puberty and can be biomarkers for g irls with central precocious puberty.2.This study found that arachidonic acid metabolic pathway, linoleic acid metabolic pathway and tricarboxylic acid cycle may be important metabolic pathways of girls with central precocious puberty.
