Clinical Study Of Tiaozhongxiezhuo Decoction In The Treatment Of Impaired Glucose Tolerance(Disharmony Of Liver And Spleen,Qi Stagnation And Phlegm Turbid Syndrome)

Objective: Through clinical trial,observe the safety and effectiveness of TCM clinical syndrome and Western medicine physical and chemical indexes of tiaozhongxiezhuo Decoction in the treatment of liver spleen disharmony,qi stagnation and phlegm turbid syndrome with impaired glucose tolerance,so as to further clinical application and research.Methods: From December 2018 to December 2019,63 patients with impaired glucose tolerance who were diagnosed as liver spleen disharmony,qi stagnation and phlegm turbid syndrome by traditional Chinese medicine were selected.63 patients who meet the standard were divided into treatment group and control group by random sampling method.The former patients were 31 patients who were treated with Tiaozhong Xiezhuo decoction combined with simple lifestyle intervention,the latter 32 patients who were treated with simple lifestyle intervention.Both groups were observed for 12 weeks after a course of treatment.The TCM syndrome score,blood glucose,blood lipid,insulin resistance index,body mass were analyzed statistically The data of BMI and WHR were used to judge whether the treatment was effective.Results: After 12 weeks of treatment,there were differences in TCM syndrome scores between the two groups,and for the improvement of TCM syndrome efficacy,the total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05).There were differences in fasting blood glucose,2 hours postprandial blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,fasting insulin,insulin resistance index,total cholesterol,triglyceride,high-density lipoprotein,low-density lipoprotein,body mass index and waist to hip ratio between the two groups(P < 0.05).There was a difference in the conversion rate of diabetes between the two groups(P < 0.05).No abnormal changes and adverse reactions were found in the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment.Conclusion: Tiaozhongxiezhuo decoction can reduce the blood glucose,body mass index,waist to hip ratio of IGT patients,improve the disorder of lipid metabolism,reduce insulin resistance and clinical symptoms of IGT patients,and it is safe and effective,reducethe conversion rate of IGT patients to diabetes,improve the quality of life of patients,and further study.
