Research On Henan's Medical Assistance To Africa

This project aims to study Henan's medical assistance to Africa.Henan Province's assistance to Africa is part of the country's practice of foreign assistance,and it is bound to be restricted by China's policy on Africa.Therefore,it should be analyzed in the context of Chinese foreign assistance.China's foreign assistance medical care has gone through several stages,but Henan's assistance to Africa medical care has unique characteristics.Since undertaking medical assistance tasks to Africa in 1973,Henan Province has unswervingly carried out medical assistance activities,including sending assistance teams to Africa,to three recipient countries.The scale and intensity of Henan's assistance to Africa have not changed greatly with the changes in China's foreign assistance work,so it cannot be simply divided according to the development stage of China's foreign assistance.Through the review of the history of medical assistance to Africa in Henan province,this paper focuses on the analysis of the main form of medical assistance to Africa in Henan Province,namely medical assistance to Africa team.This article discusses the overall situation of dispatching medical teams to Africa,the management mechanism of medical assistance to Africa,and new forms of assistance to Africa.The purpose of the study is to comprehensively understand and grasp the specific situation of medical assistance to Africa in Henan Province,to explore the problems faced by medical assistance to Africa in Henan Province,and to try to propose corresponding measures.This article uses the literature analysis method to query and sort out relevant literature,to grasp the history of China's assistance to Africa,the profile of Henan medical teams to Africa,the policy of assistance to Africa,and the form of foreign assistance.The historical research method focuses on the occurrence,development and current situation of events from the historical perspective.The historical data is used in this article to sort out the development history of China's assistance to Africa and the history,scale,policy and development status of Henan's assistance to Africa.The author interviews the relevant person in charge of the Cooperation Exchange Office of Health Commission of Henan Province and members of the Henan medical teams.By analyzing and collating interview materials,the author understands the development of foreign assistance medical work in detail and accurately.Through the analysis of various materials,it is concluded that on the one hand,Henan Province has made great achievements in its medical assistance to Africa,and the management mechanism and specific practices of medical assistance abroad have been continuously improved,which is mainly reflected in the fact that the dispatch work can be done in a timely manner in accordance with the actual situation of Henan make adjustments,such as continuously innovating foreign assistance medical forms,improving the selection mechanism,and strengthening the management of foreign assistance medical team members.On the other hand,there are still some problems in Henan Province's medical assistance to Africa.Firstly,the medical team has poor working and living conditions;secondly,the main body participating in medical assistance to Africa is relatively single;thirdly,the influence of medical assistance to Africa is insufficient.After analyzing the causes of these problems,the author proposes solutions.Such as improving the working and living conditions of the medical team,innovating the form of assistance to Africa,absorbing more assistance subjects to participate in the practice of assistance to Africa,and strengthening the publicity and research of assistance to Africa.
