Objective: The aim of the study was to investigate the incidence, the profound biomarker of post-implantation syndrome(PIS)after endovascular aortic repair(EVAR)for Stanford B aortic dissection, and analyze the association with postoperative adverse events(POAE).Methods: The study prospectively included 79 patients treated by EVAR for aortic dissection from January 2015 to January 2020.All patients were divided into a PIS group and No-PIS group according to systemic inflammatory response syndrome criteria. The inflammatory markers of two groups such as White blood cells(WBC),Hemoglobin(HB),platelet counts(PLT),Interleukin 6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP)were compared at baseline and 1,2,3,5,7 days after EVAR,and analyze the association with PIS and postoperative adverse events(POAE).Results: PIS was diagnosed in 41.7%of patients.number of stent were strongly and independently associated with PIS.PIS can be characterized by inflammatory response, decreased hemoglobin and platelet,especially,WBC(12.24±5.11 VS 9.87±2.42,p=0.008)and IL-6(90.78±42.28 VS 56.35±30.39,p<0.001)were significantly higher in the PIS group.POAE were more likely to frequent in the PIS than in the non-PIS group(62.5% VS 37.5%).Conclusions: PIS is common in AD patients after EVAR.and PIS may increase the incidence of postoperative adverse events in patients.
