Objective:18F-FDG PET/CT is the most commonly used nuclear medical examination method for the diagnosis, staging, prognosis evaluation and efficacy evaluation of various tumors.18F-FDG is a generally accepted imaging agent by scholars around the world. It is used in prostate malignant tumors. The status of diagnosis and treatment is more advantageous, but many deficiencies have been found in clinical practice, and still fall short of expected expectations. Therefore, some new tracers are needed to replace or supplement 18F-FDG in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer. The value of 11C-choline in the diagnosis of various tumors has attracted much attention. This is a recent research hotspot. This study aimed to investigate the characteristics of 11C-choline and 18F-FDG PET / CT imaging in the diagnosis of prostate cancer. Methods:Collected in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical Nuclear Medicine 15 patients were treated with 11C-18F-FDG-choline PET / CT scan is clinically suspected prostate cancer(of PCa);the 15 cases were confirmed by surgery or puncture and pathology Long-term clinical follow-up confirmed benign and malignant;sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of different tracers(11C-choline and 18F-FDG)on PCa were compared;data analysis was performed using SPSS20.0 software, and chi-square test analysis was used to compare different tracers Agent(11C-choline and18F-FDG)on PCa detection rate and metastasis results;two independent sample t tests were used to compare the SUVmax values of 11C-choline and 18F-FDG imaging between prostate hyperplasia and PCa groups;analysis and comparison Efficacy of two types of imaging for PCa diagnosis.Results:18F-FDG PET / CT imaging of prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia SUVmax comparison values(P> 0.05),no significant difference;11C-choline PET/CT in PCa and BPH SUVmax value comparison(P <0.05),the difference was statistically significant; The 11C-cholinemetabolism in metastases was higher than that in 18F-FDG,and the detection rates of metastases in 18F-FDG PET/CT and 11C-choline PET/CT were statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant..Conclusion:11C-choline has a slight advantage over 18F-FDG imaging in the diagnosis of PCa,that is,11C-choline PET / CT accuracy is 73.3%,18F-FDG PET / CT accuracy is46.7%,but 11C-choline is false. The negative rate is relatively high, that is,4 of the 9prostate patients were diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia;the 18F-FDG PET /CT false positive rate was relatively high, that is,6 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia were diagnosed as prostate malignancies;and PCa metastases were Choline is more sensitive than 18F-FDG and the tumor activity of the lesion is relatively high; Therefore, the role of 11C-choline imaging in the precise positioning of PCa,the improvement of the detection rate of metastases, and the evaluation of curative effect after treatment are more promising than 18F-FDG imaging.
