The Epidemiological Characteristics Of Pulmonary Tuberculosis In Kashgar

Objective: To analyze the epidemic status and features of PTB in Kashgar and the "three distributions" of PTB incidence in time,place,and population,and provide a scientific basis for PTB prevention and control in the region.Methods: Through the national tuberculosis network special report system,the data of PTB patients reported from 2017 to 2018 in Kashi region were collected,and the data of tuberculosis epidemic in Kashi region were statistically analyzed by descriptive research method.Results: In2017-2018,a total of 44544 cases of PTB were reported in Kashgar,of which the male to female ratio was 1.021: 1.The number of PTB cases in the 21 to 30-year-old group increased significantly.The incidence of PTB was the largest in the 61-70-year-old group,accounting for 35.23%.The number of cases of farmers accounted for 87.15% of the total number of cases.From the perspective of regional distribution characteristics,Shache County(24.58 %),Yingjisha County(13.71%),and Yecheng County(12.16%)are the top three in terms of the number of cases.The reported incidence of tuberculosis in rural areas of all cities and counties in Kashgar is higher than in urban areas.There are people with PTB reported in each quarter,which is more obvious in autumn.Physical examination is the main way to diagnose PTB patients in Kashi,accounting for 43.54%.The initial treatment group accounted for 79.96% of the patients with PTB reported within 2 years.The number of patients with Smear negative pulmonary tuberculosis was 6.39 times that of the Smear positive tuberculosis population.Conclusion: The epidemic of PTB in Kashgar remains very serious.The 21 to 30-year-old and 61 to 70-year-old age groups are the key surveillance targets for the control of tuberculosis in Kashi.Farmers are occupations with a high incidence of tuberculosis in Kashgar.Shache County,Yingjisha County and Yecheng County are the regions with the highest incidence of PTB in Kashi.The reported cases in all cities and counties are mainly concentrated in rural areas.Autumn is a period of high incidence of PTB.
