Objective: To explore the relationship between epidermal growth factor(EGF)gene polymorphism at Rs4444903 and progression of HBV-related liver cirrhosis. Methods:To detect the genotypes of EGF Rs4444903 in 128 patients with HBV-related liver cirrhosis and 208 healthy controls, and to compare the differences in age,sex ratio and AA,AG,GG genotype distribution frequency between the case group and the control group;compare 128 cases The difference between the average age of cirrhosis in patients with HBV-related cirrhosis and AA/AG genotypes and GG genotypes, while comparing the sex ratio, age, body mass index, whether antiviral treatment, alcoholism, liver cirrhosis or liver cancer in family history, aminotransferase, total bilirubin,HBV-DNA,etc,are there any differences in the two groups;the above indicators of patients with HBV-related liver cirrhosis are analyzed by single factor linear regression, and the factors with significant single factor regression analysis(P<0.05)are multivariate linear regression analysis was performed on independent variables to study the independent influencing factors of cirrhosis age. Results:The distribution frequency of GG genotype of EGF in HBV-related cirrhosis(51.5%)was higher than that of healthy people(46.6%),but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);HBV-related cirrhosis the average age of liver cirrhosis in patients with GG genotype is lower than that in patients with AA/AG genotype, and there is a statistical difference(P<0.05),while the other interfering factors have not been found to be statistically different between the two groups;EGF genotype may be a factor affecting the age of cirrhosis(P<0.05),that is,the age of cirrhosis of GG genotype tends to be younger than AA/AG genotype. Conclusion:The gene polymorphism at EGF Rs4444903 may affect the occurrence and development of liver fibrosis and cirrhosis.
