Objective:To describe the nurses' self-efficacy and professional autonomy.To analyze the impact of general information on nurses' self-efficacy and professional autonomy.To explore the relationship between self-efficacy and professional autonomy.In order to rich theoretical system of nurses' self-efficacy and professional autonomy,meanwhile make advices for the decision makers.Method:This paper adopts the non-experimental description of convenient sampling design.The sample was selected from the3 A-Grade hospital of Taian,Shandong Province,and 500 nurses who came from clinical workplace.They were investigated by person information questions,general self-efficacy scale(GSES)and Nursing Professional Autonomy Scale with convenience sampling method.Use SPSS20.0 for statistical analysis of the research datas.Results:1.The scores of nurses' self-efficacy were 27.42±5.39;Different working department,gender,age,posision,job title,level of education,marital status,fertility,seniority,form of employment,night shift and income situation of nurses' self-efficacy scores were statistical significant(P<0.05).2.The total scores of nurses' professional autonomy were 178.49±18.27;Working attitude had the highest scores,the lowest scores belonged to the social identity of nursing profession;Different working department,gender,age,posision,job title,level of education,marital status,fertility,seniority,form of employment,night shift and income situation of nurses' professional autonomy scores were statistical significant(P<0.05).3.Nurses' self-efficacy and professional autonomy were positively correlated.4.Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that the age,level of education,job title,fertility and seniority into the self-efficacy(P<0.05).5.Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that the age,level of education,job title,fertility and seniority into the professional autonomy(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The level of nurses' self-efficacy was in the higher level.The level of nurses' professional autonomy was in the middle.Nurses' self-efficacy and professional autonomy were positively correlated.2.Different working department,gender,age,potision,job title,level of education,marital status,fertility,seniority,form of employment,night shift and income situation of nurses' self-efficacy and professional autonomy scores were statistical significant.3.The age,level of education,job title,fertility and seniority were important factors affecting self-efficacy,and the fertility was the most influential one.4.The age,level of education,job title,fertility and seniority were important factors affecting professional autonomy,and the level of education was the most influential one.
