A Study On The Informatization Construction In Suzhou Municipal Hospital

Entering the 21st century,with the rapid development of information technology,the combination of medical technology and informatization is currently the trend of hospital development.And increasing investment in information construction is also one of the important ways to help hospitals realize modern management.The combination of efficient information software and powerful IT equipment forms information system to serve production and operation,which is an important measure to improve the overall medical quality and service management level of the hospital,as well as an important symbol of the modernization and informatization of the hospital.With the request of the "531" action plan of Suzhou Health Committee for each affiliated medical institution,the informatization construction of Suzhou Municipal Hospital is being actively carried out at present.However,due to the historical factors such as decentralization of hospital area,fragmentation of information system and difficulty in implementing administrative merger of hospital area,the informatization construction of Suzhou Municipal Hospital is faced with the dilemma of disrupted planning,slow construction pace and unclear development direction.From the perspective of the cognition of hospital informatization construction,this paper uses the literature analysis method to excavate the three terms "information","informatization" and "informatization construction",which helps to have a comprehensive understanding of the history and current situation of the development of informatization construction.At the same time,it provides basic ideas for hospital informatization construction.By comparing the development environment of hospital informatization construction at home and abroad,understanding its development process and adopting Comparison Analysis method,it obtains the general development rules in the current hospital informatization construction process.Based on the field research,through the analysis and summary of the past cases of hospital informatization construction,the development status of Suzhou Municipal Hospital informatization construction was deeply studied,and the development trend of hospital informatization construction and the difficulties encountered by the hospital information department in the construction process were discussed.During the research,some problems were found in the informatization construction process of Suzhou Municipal Hospital.Firstly,the informatization construction plan was out of line with the technology at that time.Secondly,the informatization construction process lacked extensive participation of medical personnel.Thirdly,information platform construction was not in place.Lastly,informationization construction professional talent reserve was insufficient.Through the analysis of the problems in the informationization construction,several main reasons can be summarized as follows.The first is that the construction plan needs to be more scientific;the second is that the awareness of all parties involved in the construction is not strong;the third is the lack of standardized management of the informationization construction process;the fourth is that the introduction of information construction professionals is not enough.After learning from the development experience of hospitals in the United States,Europe,Japan and China,based on relevant information management and e-government theory,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the development of informatization construction of Suzhou Municipal Hospital.In the process of informatization construction,grade hospital information requirements and the social demand should be combined to improve the preparatery work of the hospital informationization construction.Through incentive methods to increase the participation of all levels in the information construction,the hospital should also strengthen the construction of information platform and create more specialized information construction teams.The implementation of the above measures will help Suzhou Municipal Hospital develop better on the road of informatization construction.Vigorously developing informatization construction is conducive to improving medical efficiency and self-management level and forming a caring,convenient and efficient medical system,which can improve patients’ service satisfaction and help it become a "warm" hospital.The development of information construction can help the hospital innovate the administrative management mode,and can realize the seamless connection,mutual integration and sharing of information among departments.It can also remove information isolated islands in the hospital and make the hospital management more standardized,more precise and more intelligent in order to become a smart hospital.
