Research On Remote Diagnosis Based On Profit And Cost Method

Nowadays society,people's aging phenomenon is one of the issue we have to face currently,people required better living quality,and people's demand for health care is also increasing,and "lack of medical resources,lack of money to pay" has been the people's most concerned problem,the allocation of medical resources structure is unreasonable,The uneven distribution of medical resources among regions is the main cause of this problem.In view of these problems,in recent years,the Central State Council has actively promoted the construction of medical consortia(hereinafter referred to as "medical treatment association"),deepened the reform of the medical and health system,issued a number of planning guidance,all parties to actively explore the construction of medical treatment association,and constantly improve the hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system,forming the urban medical treatment association,medical community,cross-regional specialist alliance and remote diagnosis and treatment collaboration network,such as four types of medical treatment association form.And the third-party image platform can connect all levels of hospitals,optimize the process of medical treatment,improve the efficiency of services,in order to promote the development process of hierarchical diagnosis and treatment.Through our research,most remote diagnosis and treatment platforms are willing to give equipment and systems for free to earn the partnership with hospitals,but very few can really play a role in serving the hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system.Most platforms are not focus on market segments and have no sustainable business plan,resulting in remote diagnosis and treatment not being popularized.Aiming at the difficulties of the current remote diagnosis and treatment,this paper studies a large number of articles and documentaries both domestic and abroad,and with thorough channel check,we believe that with the proper business model,the medical imaging platform,as a segment piece of remote diagnosis and treatment,could truly serve the hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system with sustainable benefit for all the parties.In this paper,we focus on the feasibility analysis of medical imaging platform through the establishment of financial model based on number of hospitals,number of patients,fee structure and other parameters,and using cost analysis method to testify the profitability of this business model,and to provide sustainable and replicable solutions for remote consultation on the current medical conditions.We use a major hospital in Shantou as a sample,to discusses whether the medical treatment association can achieve the win-win situation between hospital,doctor,patient and medical imaging platform by using our model.Based on our analysis,it is concluded that:(1)Medical imaging platforms can store the image data of each hospital,which is in the medical treatment association,in cloud storage.The platforms can provide a fully managed or semi-managed service according to the needs of the hospital.The doctors in high-grade hospitals can assist the doctors in low-grade hospitals to diagnosis so that the medical resources can be optimized configurated.This mode can help the hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system to develope.(2)In the model assumption of cost analysis,the cost of the medical imaging platform is steadable.Because of the high population density,the polulation of patients is large,so that there will be a large number of the examinations of X-Ray,CT and MRI.Based on the large quantity of examinations,the platform will gain the profit and cover the cost in a short time.(3)To take the First Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College Medical Treatment Association for example,according to the model assumption and data analysis,the platform that serves this association gains profit in the second year,and continue to make profit.It proves that this mode of operation is feasible,profitable and replicable.
