Traditional surgical training has shortcomings such as long training period,low efficiency,high cost,and lack of corpse resources.With the development of virtual reality and haptic feedback technology,virtual surgery has gradually been applied to the surgical training of medical students and residents,providing trainees with surgical operation skills training,which largely solves the shortcomings of traditional surgery.With the objective of developing the basic training module in the virtual surgery system of thoracoscopy,this paper studies the technologies related to the system,and the specific work completed includes:(1)Research on medical three-reconstruction algorithm and realization of reconstruction module.This paper introduced the Marching Cube algorithm in face rendering and Ray Casting algorithm in volume rendering,and utilized existing basic elements and modules on the Unity3 D platform,and combined the two algorithms to rapidly achieve face rendering and volume rendering of patients' head and chest medical image sequences.Compared with the medical reconstruction development based on underlying C++,the reconstruction module based on Unity3 D has the advantages of high integration,short development cycle and good interactivity.The medical three-reconstruction module lays a foundation for the later development of soft tissue and organ simulation operation.(2)Unity3D platform was adopted to design and complete the development of basic training module in the virtual surgery system of thoracoscopy.The system can switch between four simulators with four different display modes including conventional virtual reality,immersive virtual reality,augmented reality and mixed reality.(3)The performance of five surgical simulators was studied experimentally.In this thesis,the experiment of Peg Transfer training in the basic training module of surgery was designed.8 experts and 24 novices from Yunnan First People's Hospital were invited to conduct experiments.Through the subjective questionnaire and objective evaluation methods,the five kinds of simulators commonly used in the market were verified in performance.In the interactive environment part,i.e.immersion,the mixed reality simulator is superior to the cognitive virtual reality simulator.In terms of haptic,the box simulator is superior to the other four simulators,but the operation object is easily destroyed after repeated using.The augmented reality simulator is the best in terms of interaction;although the overall performance of the mixed reality simulator is not perfect,it provides a highly immersive real operating room environment for medical students and residents.
