Shoulder joint disease represented by scapulohumeral periarthritis can cause numbness and pain in the arm.Long-term compressed blood vessels cause premature aging of the shoulder joint,which restricts people's activities and seriously affects the normal life of the patient.And the current main treatment is that the therapists do some long-term one-one rehabilitation training towards the patients to gradually cure the scapulohumeral periarthritis,which will lead to insufficient medical resources.However,if making use of computer technology to monitor the patients,this problem could be effectively solved.Therefore,this paper developed a shoulder joint rehabilitation system,based on the attitude capture and the virtual reality technology,for the rehabilitation training.And this thesis mainly focused on the following aspects.Firstly,this thesis designs a low-cost,lightweight wireless wearable sensor system based on the analysis of the domestic and foreign research status.We independently design and manufacture the wearable devices,including sensor selection and calibration,communication module and power module selection,shell and internal device layout of wearable nodes.And we utilize the asynchronous communication with the pipeline mechanism between the multi-sensor and the host computer,which greatly improve the frequency of data update for each node and the overall real-time performance of the system.Secondly,a corresponding software system is specially developed for the wearable devices in this paper,which is used for real-time data communication,upper limb posture information calculation and real-time communication with virtual reality software.Based on the analysis and design of human upper limbs' action characters,quaternion is introduced to solve the gimbal lock of universal joint in the reconstruction process.In addition,data accuracy is verified.Wearable devices and optical devices simultaneously collect data to verify data accuracy,and we contrast and rebuild the posture data and analyze the experimental results.Then,the bone structure and degree of freedom of shoulder joint are analyzed in details.Then,the virtual reality game is developed by using the engine of unity3 d,where we utilize the virtual characters to reconstruct the real-time motion by using the wearable devices and corresponding communication software.And the medical data was referred to in order to carry out the experiment of real-time motion reconstruction of human body.Finally,according to the characteristics of the system,the appropriate shoulder rehabilitation evaluation scale was selected to carry out the real clinical experiment.The effectiveness of the system was verified in the clinical experiment.The wearable sensor and rehabilitation system mentioned in this paper are expected to be productized and applied to the fields of rehabilitation medicine,entertainment and fitness.
