With the improvement of life quality,the incidence of stroke increases year by year,and the number of apoplexy sequelae and hemiplegia patients is increasing.Normal pathways of the brain by the brain-central nervous-peripheral nerve-of skeletal muscle,brain computer interface(BCI)technology can be used to bypass the normal pathways of the brain directly to complete the brain to interact with the surrounding environment,realize the communication function of the brain,a movement disorder but brain functioning paralyzed patients can be increased through brain-computer interface technology to control the means of a week of foreign equipment.Functional electrical stimulation(FES)is to set a certain sequence of electrical stimulation and an appropriate intensity of electrical stimulation according to the muscle distribution of the human body to activate the out-of-control muscle fibers and make them contract so as to generate movement.Based on the characteristics of BCI and FES technology,this paper studied a portable stroke rehabilitation system combining BCI technology and FES technology for apoplexy sequelae patients with normal brain thinking and peripheral nerve operation but blocked nerve transmission pathway.In this paper,BCI is introduced into the FES system as the control signal,and the whole system scheme is designed: Movement imagination with the real motion with the same motor neuron pathways and similar cerebral activation of parallel,first using single-channel portable eeg acquisition equipment respectively to extract the brain on the left hand movement and imagination right hand movement process of eeg signals,after preprocessing,feature extraction and classification for patients with the movement of the intention,and then convert it to FES drive signal,control the action of FES,so as to stimulate the body to produce movement,and movement of parts and sensory feedback to the brain,neural pathways to the damage of produce certain stimulation,ultimately achieve the purpose of improving patients’ limb movement function.This subject USES the basic theory of BCI technology to process the eeg information generated by the motion imagination collected by the single channel eeg acquisition equipment at the forehead,including preprocessing,feature extraction and classification.Based on functional electrical stimulation and using modern micro-processing technology,a rehabilitation electrical stimulator with active patient participation was developed on the Keil5 software development platform.STM32F103ZCT6 is used as the main control unit in this system.The parameters such as stimulus time,frequency,duty cycle and stimulus channel can be controlled by touch screen,or the upper computer can be controlled by USB interface in online mode.The experimental results show that the imaginary movement can be converted into the actual movement of limbs with high accuracy by this device,which proves the effectiveness of combining BCI rehabilitation system in FES. |
