Due to the rapid development of electronic information technology, privacy has become one of the most concerned issues.Smart cities,Internet of Things and other new terms have been emerged,a variety of smart devices have greatly improved medical conditions, and human beings are benefited from these devices. The electronic medical record can enable the medical crews to better grasp the patient's condition and greatly reduce the misdiagnosis rate when implement the diagnosis;the electronic health devices can monitor the user's physical condition to protect users health at anytime. However, privacy issues are gradually exposed while using these devices. This article is mainly divided into two sections: privacy-preserving usage of medical data and privacy-preserving collection of medical data. The necessary of electronic medical record system is not only the savings of money per year on paper documents, but the improvement in medical precision and resilience, what more convenience is that it can be used anytime and anywhere. For hospitals,it is unnecessary to build their own local medical data centers and store medical data locally due to the enormous storage and maintenance pressures. With the development of cloud technology, hospitals can store data in the cloud, the authorized users can download the required data directly from the cloud. However, the use of electronic medical records raises threats to the user's privacy. If a malicious attacker abuses the medical data,it will cause some troubles to the user. There existed many schemes to protect the security of patients' data, however, the privacy of the requester is often ignored. The proposed IEMR not only ensures data security, but also protects the privacy of the requester. With the development of the Internet of Things, electronic devices, such as mobile bracelets, can be used to collect user's health data, these data can be uploaded to a data center for analysis. However, most of the collected data contain a large amount of private information, and users do not want their private information to be known by any third parties.Users want their privacy to be protected. However, due to the limitation of the Internet protocol, user packets can be monitored and the cloud server is not completely trusted. Therefore,we need to provide a method of privacy preserving data collection. This paper first analyzes the privacy problems that may be faced in data usage and data collection, then proposes two privacy protection methods respectively, the theoretical analysis and experiments are performed to demonstrate the correctness and efficiency of the proposed method.
