Objective: To investigate the expression of CD8 and Foxp3 in tumor infiltrating lymphocytes(TILs)in patients with early stage cervical cancer after chemoradiotherapy, and to analyze the relationship between the clinical and pathological features and prognosis of patients with early stage cervical cancer after radiotherapy and chemotherapy.Prognostic factors in patients with cervical cancer after radiotherapy and chemotherapy.Methods:1,We examined the prognostic value of tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes(TILs)in patients with early cervical cancer after surgery and postoperative radiotherapy or chemoradiotherapy.FFPE-tissue originating from thesurgery of 40 patients treated in SHENGJING hospital was immunohistochemically stained for CD8 and Foxp3;2,The survival outcomes of 40 patients with cervical cancer were followed up,and the relationship between the expression level and the prognosis of cervical cancer patients was analyzed. Results: Univariate analysis showed that OS and DFS in patients with early cervical cancer were affected by lymph node metastasis, margin involvement,CD8 and Foxp3TILs(P<0.05).OS and DFS were not affected by patient age, tumor volume,FIGO stage, the degree of differentiation, the depth of cervical interstitial infiltration and the effect of adjuvant treatment after surgery(P > 0.05).In multivariate analysis, high CD8 expression was identified as an independent prognostic parameter for OS(p=0.003),DFS(p=0.003),and low Foxp3 expression was identified as an independent prognostic parameter for OS(p=0.004).Conclusion(s): In this study, patients with higher levels of CD8 in the tumor were found to have improved outcomes and could be used as independent prognostic factors for cervical cancer.Low Foxp3 expression was identified as an independent prognostic parameter for OS.
