Noninvasive Assessment Value Of SWE For Measuring Spleen Hardness In Esophagogastric Varices In Patients With Hepatitis B Cirrhosis

Objective: 1.Apply shear wave elastography to measure the hardness of normal human spleen and explore the characteristics of SS in normal people.2.To evaluate the noninvasive assessment value of shear wave elastography SS for esophagogastric varices in patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis.Methods: Ultrasound examination data of 52 patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis and 40 normal volunteers who underwent ultrasonography from our hospital from December 2016 to December 2018 were collected and relevant information was recorded.The shear wave elastography technique was used to measure the patient’s SS value in kPa.The correlation between normal adult SS value and age,gender,weight,height and body mass index was analyzed.The ROC curve of SS for esophagogastric varices was calculated.Area,analyze the diagnostic accuracy of spleen hardness value for noninvasive assessment of esophagogastric varices in patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis.Results: 1.Among the 40 healthy volunteers,39 images were successfully collected.The correlations of age,gender,weight,height and body mass index were analyzed.The correlation coefficients rs were 0.10、0.31、0.12、0.09、0.20.p>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.2.There was a statistically significant difference between the spleen hardness value of the normal control group and the spleen hardness value of the cirrhotic patients group,p<0.001.3.The spleen hardness value of the patients without hepatitis B cirrhosis and the spleen hardness value of the combined GOV group There was a statistically significant difference,p < 0.001,the best node value was 27.83 kPa,the area under the ROC curve was 0.972,p < 0.001,the sensitivity at this point was 87.0%,and the specificity was 96.2%.Conclusions: 1.The SS value of normal adults is not related to age,gender,weight,height and body mass index.2.The application of shear wave elastography to measure SS has a good predictive accuracy for the non-invasive evaluation of the presence of esophageal and gastric varices in patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis.
