Objective: To analyze the clinical data of 72 cases of necrotizing enterocolitis(NEC)in neonates, and the factors influencing the long-term outcome and adverse outcome of neonatal NEC in different stages were analyzed. Methods: 72 cases of NEC confirmed in the first neonatal internal medicine ward of Shengjing Hospital affiliated to China Medical University from January 2016 to December 2017 were divided into phase I Group(n=8 case),Phase II Group(n=44 case)and Phase ? Group(n=20 case)according to Bell-NEC staging criteria. The physical development, digestive system outcome and other complications of children were followed up,and the effects of different staging and treatment methods on the long-term prognosis of NEC children were analyzed. Results: The average correction age of 72 children was 24.5±7.5 months at the end of follow-up.The percentage of children of the same age in NEC ? was significantly lower than that of children in phase II and phase I(P=0.006,P=0.007 and P=0.005).14 cases(19.4%)of chronic diarrhea and 20 cases(27.8%)of intestinal obstruction,of which the incidence of children in phase ? was significantly higher than that in phase II and phase I(P=0.012 and P=0.001).72 cases of NEC children, only 1 cases of NEC recurrence, the occurrence of brine after the age of February years, through two surgeries successfully cured.A total of 2 children(2.7%)had short bowel syndrome, all of which were NEC ?.The children of NEC ? underwent surgical treatment,5 cases(25%)of intestinal resection and anastomosis after conservative treatment,15 cases(25%)of intestinal fistula resection in acute stage of necrosis, and no effect of different operation on the long-term outcome of children. The length of the remaining small intestine after operation was positively correlated with body weight and head circumference(r=0.709,r=0.698? r=0.687,P=0.005,P=0.006 ? P=0.008).Conclusion: The clinical staging of NEC is an important related factor affecting the physical development of children and the long-term adverse outcome of digestive system, and the children of NEC ? are more likely to have long-term adverse outcomes. The length of the remaining small intestine after operation has a significant effect on the long-term physical development of the child, that is,the longer the length of the remaining small intestine, the better the physical development of the child.
