| Objective:To prospectively compare the intraoperative and postoperative indexes of the patients with type ? tympanoplasty under endoscope and microscope,and to compare the clinical differences between the two surgical methods.Methods:From December 2017 to September 2018,72 patients with chronic suppurative otitis media undergoing type ? tympanoplasty in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery,First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University,were randomly divided into two groups.Endoscopic type ? tympanoplasty was performed in 35 cases(group A)and microscopic type ? tympanoplasty was performed in 37 cases(group B).The surgical time,medical expenses,postoperative auricle numbness,postoperative dry ear time,tympanic membrane perforation rate and hearing improvement rate were compared between the two groups.SPSS 20.0 statistical software was used to compare the differences between the two groups.Results:The operation time was 53.80±7.44min in group A and 57.95±7.55min in group B.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Medical expenses:16343.72±1170.11 RMB in group A and 17025.07±1137.14 RMB in group B,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Postoperative auricular numbness rate was 5.71%in group A and 100%in group B,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The postoperative dry ear time of more than 1 month:17.14%in group A and 64.86%in group B,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The tympanic membrane perforation rate was 0%in group A and 2.7%in group B.The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The postoperative hearing improvement rate was 77.14%in group A and 72.97%in group B.The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions:Compared with traditional endoscopic type ? tympanoplasty,endoscopic type ? tympanoplasty has the advantages of short operation time,small intraoperative injury,low medical cost,short postoperative dry ear time and quick recovery.At the same time,the equivalent audiological effects can be obtained between the the two surgical methods,which means endoscopic type ? tympanoplasty can replace endoscopic type ? tympanoplasty to a large extent and become the main surgical method for the treatment of chronic suppurative otitis media. |
