Objective This paper is purpose to evaluate the role of the test return reminder function of emergency information system in the treatment of severe multiple injuries. Methods Patients with multiple injuries admitted to the emergency department of a hospital in shenyang from April to June 2018 by using the test return reminder function were the experimental group, while patients with multiple injuries admitted to the hospital from April to June 2017 were the control group.Blood specimen turnover time, number of examination reports,no rate of return of examination results, patient retention time, success rate of emergency rescue, death rate of 8 hours after injury and survival analysis of 14 days after injury were compared between the two groups. Results There were 203 cases included in the observation group and 178 cases in the control group. The average age of the experimental group was 49.20±16.02 years old, with a male to female ratio of 1.47:1,an AIS score of 8.04±2.45,and an ISS score of 22.34±9.78.There were 83 cases of traffic accident injury,49 cases of high fall injury,37 cases of engineering accident injury,19 cases of knife injury,7 cases of detonation injury, and 8 cases of other injuries. The mean age of the control group was 47.18±14.70,the ratio of male to female was 1.31:1,the AIS score was 7.71±2.05,and the ISS score was 20.79±8.74.There were 77 cases of traffic accident injury,40 cases of high fall injury,33 cases of engineering accident injury,11 cases of knife stab injury,11 cases of detonation injury, and the other 6 cases. There was no statistical difference between the two groups, and the data were homogeneous.Experimental group and biochemical blood specimens turnaround time(P25,P75)[M] 73(59,92)minutes,routine blood specimens turnaround time(P25,P75)[M] 65(49,80)minutes,check the inspection report number 2.71±0.73 times, frequency of inspection report did not return to 72±5%,patients with emergency time of 111.79±24.73 minutes,ISS score in 15 patients rescue success rate of less than 95.00%,8 hours after injury mortality rate 4.26%,ISS score in more than 16 patients rescue success rate of 93.86%,8 hours after injury, the mortality rate was 9.62%.Control biochemical blood specimens turnaround time(P25,P75)[M] 92(66.75,127)minutes,routine blood sample turnaround time(P25,P75)[M] 81.5(54.75,112.5)minutes,and check the inspection report number 3.24±0.93 times, inspection report did not return to 75±5%,patients with emergency time of 117.45±26.31 minutes,ISS score in 15 patients rescue success rate of less than 97.05%,8 hours after injury mortality rate 2.17%.The success rate of rescuing patients with ISS score above 16 was 87.42%,and the 8-hour mortality was 17.42%.Compared with the control group, the blood turnover time of the experimental group was significantly shortened, the number of inspection reports was reduced, the rate of return on inspection reports was reduced, the emergency retention time of patients was reduced, the success rate of rescuing patients with ISS score above 16 was increased, and the mortality rate was reduced within 8 hours after injury, showing a statistically significant difference(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in survival analysis between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions In the treatment of emergency patients with multiple injuries, the function of information test result reminder can significantly improve work efficiency, shorten the retention time of patients, improve the success rate of rescue for patients with severe multiple injuries, and reduce the 8-hour mortality after injury. It plays a certain role in promoting the treatment level of trauma patients and the quality of emergency medical treatment, and is worthy of long-term promotion and application.
