Analysis Of Clinical Efficacy Of TACE Combined With Antiviral Therapy For Hepatitis B Associated Liver Cancer After Hepatectomy

Objective To investigate the effect of postoperative prophylactic antiviral combined with TACE on the prognosis of patients with hepatitis B-related liver cancer after radical resection of liver cancer.Methods The complete clinical data of patients with chronic hepatitis B virus infection diagnosed by hepatobiliary surgery at the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from January 2010 to December 2015 were recorded.Some patients underwent TACE combined with antiviral therapy,and some patients only underwent antiviral therapy.To reduce the confounding bias due to baseline differences,propensity score matching was used to generate the two treatment groups for the patients.To analyze the overall 1,2,and 3 years survival rate and tumor-free survival time of the two treatment groupsResults All patient analyses showed that the 1-,2-,and 3-year survival rates of the combination and antiviral groups were(96.5%/89.%),(89.5%/79.0%),and(80.2%/67.7%,P=0.045,respectively.The 1-,2-,and 3-year survival rates of the combination group and the antiviral group after propensity score were(95.1%/78.8%),(89%/65.2%),and(81.8%/51.5%,P=0.001).All patient analyses showed that the DFS of the combined group in the anti-virus group was(90.7%/87.9%),(80.2%/78.2%),and(73.3%/66.9%,P=0.353),respectively,but The DFS of 1,2,and 3 years after the propensity score were(87.8%/77.2),(72.7%/63.6%),and(71.2%/50%,P=0.019),respectively.Conclusion Antiviral therapy combined with TACE after radical resection of liver cancer can improve the long-term survival of HBV-related liver cancer and prolong the tumor-free survival time.For patients with primary liver cancer complicated with HBV infection,antiviral therapy combined with TACE after radical resection should be a kind of Treatmentroutine.
