| Objective: To evaluate the effect of alendronate sodium tablets on bone mineral density in patients with rheumatoid disease with long-term glucocorticoids. Methods: A total of 50 female patients with rheumatic diseases admitted to our department from January to February 2018,2016 were enrolled. All patients were given oral glucocorticoid for more than 6 months. They were randomly divided into vitamin D+ calcium and vitamin D + calcium.+ Alendronate tablets in two groups, after the corresponding treatment and monitoring of bone metabolism indicators at 0 and 6 months. The differences between the two groups were compared by single factor. The mean values of bone mineral density before and after treatment were compared by t test.P <0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: Serum calcium and vitamin D in each group did not change significantly before and after treatment(P > 0.1).Bone mineral density measurements were improved in both groups before and after treatment, and bone mineral density increased significantly in the alendronate sodium group(P<0.05).Conclusion: For patients with rheumatic diseases with long-term doses of small doses of hormones, alendronate sodium tablets can effectively improve the bone density of patients, reduce the occurrence of fractures, and play a role in bone protection. |
