In the current field of biomedical engineering, the research on implanted antennas has attracted more and more attention.Implantable antennas exist in the interior of the human body, and their role is to communicate wirelessly with external devices. For the antenna implanted in organism, the absorption of electromagnetic wave by organism will lead to a sharp reduction of antenna gain. Moreover, due to the limitations of human body and complex application environment, implantable antenna also needs to meet the strict requirements of miniaturization, circular polarization,multi-band,broadband,biocompatibility and safety. Therefore,a flexible ground radiation antenna with circular polarization characteristics is proposed in this paper.Symmetrical slotting is used to achieve impedance matching and meet the requirements of circular polarization wave generation.Among them,a new type of flexible material is selected to evaluate the antenna performance by simulation in the single-layer organization model, and compared with the multi-layer organization model. In this paper, traditional pork is used to realize single-layer and multi-layer tissue models. The circularly polarized flexible antenna is placed in the tissue model for performance simulation test. The measurement impedance bandwidth of 620 MHz is realized in the 2.4-2.48 GHz Industrial Science and medical frequency band, and it has a wider axis-ratio bandwidth of 250 MHz,ranging from 2.28 to 2.53 GHz.In addition, the circularly polarized flexible antenna has low profile characteristics, and its overall thickness is less than 3 mm even if it contains two coatings. In addition, the antenna also shows good robustness when the depth of implantation and the thickness of biocompatibility coating are analyzed experimentally. Therefore, the circularly polarized flexible antenna can be applied to the research of biomedical applications. The main work and research results of this thesis are as follows:(1)The research background of implantable antenna in biomedical application is introduced. The design idea of implantable antenna is analyzed and realized by simulation and experiment.(2)The impedance matching is realized by symmetrical grooving, which meets the requirement of circular polarization wave generation. Moreover,a novel material, polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS),is used as the base material for simulation analysis, and good results are obtained.(3)The antenna has low profile characteristics.Even if it contains two coatings, its overall size is less than 3 mm,and the antenna also shows good robustness to implantation depth and coating thickness.(4)The Traditional pork was used to realize single-layer and multi-layer tissue, and experimental simulation analysis was carried out.The measurement impedance bandwidth of 620 MHz and the axis ratio bandwidth of 250 MHz are realized in the 2.4-2.48 GHz Industrial Science Medical frequency band.(5)The work of this paper is analyzed and summarized. At the same time, the possible future research directions are studied and prospected.
