Objective The purpose of this study was to provide information on the percutaneous endoscopic lumbar discectomy to treat migrated lumbar disc herniationthe. To explore the clinical efficacy and clinical strategies of migrated lumbar disc herniation by the treatment of percutaneous endoscopic lumbar discectomy. Methods Thirteen-six migrated LDH cases were admitted in **** between June 2014 and June 2017.All patients,23 males and 19 females, were treatment by percutaneous endoscopic lumbar discectomy(PELD).All of them had obvious symptoms of lumbago and leg pain and were confirmed by imaging examination as single segment lumbar disc herniation. The outcomes at the preoperative,1 month postoperative,6 month postoperative and last follow-up were assessed by the visual analogue score(VAS),oswestry disability index(ODI)and the modified MacNab criteria.SPSS statistical software was used to analyze the changes of patients' curative effect before and after treatment,p<0.05 was considered statistically meaning. Results In this group,42 patients were performed successfully. The average operation time was 75 minutes, the average bed time was 7.5 hours, and the average hospital time after operation was 4.0 days.2 patients were lost due to communication disorders,40 patients were followed up.The average follow-up was 12~18 months, with an average of 12 + 2.3 months.Preoperative and postoperative 1 month,6 months after operation and the last follow-up,the VAS score was 7.9±0.8,2.3±0.5,2.1±0.6,1.9±0.4,ODI score were 66.7±4.2,17.9±1.8,14.1±1.4,10.7±1.1,compared with the operation before each time point after operation VAS and ODI scores were significantly improved,a statistically significant difference(P<0.05);between each time point after operation,VAS score and ODI score showed no significant difference(P>0.05).The MacNab score of the last follow-up was excellent in 33 cases, good in 4 cases, and in 3 cases, with an excellent rate of 92.5%.Conclusion Percutaneous endoscopic lumbar discectomy is a minimally invasive and effective surgical method for migrated lumbar disc herniation. Its clinical efficacy is accurate and stable, and there is no difference in clinical efficacy at all time points after operation,so it is applicable for clinical popularization.
