Objective:To analyze the correlation of dry eye symptoms with tear lipid layer and meibomian glands in adults.Method:This study selected from February 2017 to October 2017 to Tianjin Eye Hospital for cataract surgery 200 cases(273)for the study, adults aged 18-84 years old, were examinded with Standard Patient Evaluation of Eye Dryness,(SPEED)questionnaire, using Lipiview ocular surface interferometer to detect thickness of tear film lipid layer(lipid layer thickness,LLT),incomplete blink ratio(partial blink rate,PB)as well as deletion of meibomian gland. The rate was measured using a meibomian gland assessor(MGE)to evaluate the lower meibomian gland lipid score(MGYSS)and the meibomian gland glands to secrete lipid secretory openings(MGYLS),all performed by the same physician. The Spearman rank tear film lipid layer thickness and meibomian deletion of correlation analysis, the proportion of incomplete blink, the relationship between the numerical aperture of the meibomian gland, meibomian gland secretion of dry eye symptoms and oil state. Results:The thickness of tear film lipid layer was(69.51±20.06)nm,the proportion of incomplete blinks was 0.53±0.34,the rate of meibomian gland deletion was(24.49±16.92)%,SPEED score was(5.96±3.44)points,the numerical aperture of the meibomian gland was(6.85±2.54),and the meibomian gland lipid layer score was(14.64±7.11)points.There was a negative correlation between the rate of meibomian gland deletion and lipid layer thickness(r=0.839,P < 0.001),positive correlation with SPEED score(r=0.681,P < 0.001),SPEED score and tear film lipid layer thickness.has negative correlation(r = 0.771,P <0.001),but has positive correlation with incomplete blink ratio(P> 0.05),the tear film lipid layer thickness and meibomian glands that secrete an opening amount of fat(MGYLS)was(r = 0.640,P < 0.001),positive correlation with meibomian secretory lipid score(MGYSS)(r = 0.711,P < 0.001),but no significant.Conclusion:1.Lipiview's eye surface interferometer can be an effective auxiliary method for adult eye diagnosis by detecting the thickness of lacrimal film and the loss rate of the eyelid gland, which can provide a powerful basis for the diagnosis of dry eye and dry eye.2.The tarsal gland evaluator(MGE)has a good correlation with the symptoms of LLT and the patient's own dry eye,and can also be used as an auxiliary diagnostic tool for dry eyes.3.The incidence of dry eye in all ages is higher than that before, but the characteristics of dry eyes in all ages and the reasons that may cause dry eye are not the same. There should be individualized diagnosis and treatment.4.Although the diagnostic criteria for dry eyes have not been recognized at the present time, the subjective perception of dry eye symptoms has become an important basis for dry eye diagnosis. Therefore, the correlation between dry eye symptoms and dry eye symptoms is analyzed. It is of great significance to judge the prognosis and evaluate the prognosis.
